I saw Scott standing beside Claudia, both holding hands together, gripping them so tight. I could see Vicky gritting her teeth. I smiled when I thought of what Nick had told me before.
"So, Scott. You told her, huh?" I asked teasingly.
Scott slightly blushed. He slicked his hair back. He looked pretty cute when he did that. "Uh, I guess?"
Everyone in the room laughed, including Vicky.
I just grinned. "So, what's up?" I asked.
"Not much. But guess what?" Clint asked.
"What?" I asked.
"We and the BSB will make a double-concert!" Clint said excitedly.
I was so happy. Hey, maybe they could get to know each other even closer.
"That's great! But what about the place? Frankfurt Stadium is too small for all fans. I mean, just for BSB, there's gonna be about 15,000 fans!"
Clint drooled. "I mean, we're going to be guest stars."
"Oh," I muttered. "What are you going to sing?"
The Moffatts brothers looked at each other.
"We and the BSB will sing one of our song and one of theirs. That'll be - uh, I'll Never Break Your Heart and Love!" Scott said, his eyes were glittered with sparkles of excitement.
I smiled. "So, Timay. How's the date?"
"Oh... it was so damn fun. He looked so cute..." Timay continued blabbing.
"Is she like this before?" I asked the rest.
"She kept talking about her so-called excitement since last night. That's why we're so exhausted! We can't sleep! She's Miss Non-Stop!" Claudia complained.
I laughed and shook my head. "I have a good news."
"What?" Vicky asked.
"I will get out from this hell tomorrow!" I exclaimed in satisfaction.
"That's wonderful!" they all said at the same time. Then they looked at each other and laughed.
"It must've been a deja vu!" Dave said, still laughing.
"How about the case?" Bob asked.
"What case?" I asked.
"About those - drugs," Bob replied.
"Don't worry the officers will handle it," I answered.
"We just hope that they'd figure it out," Dave said, smiling sweetly under his fringe.
"Gee, thanks," I said to him.
Alexandra started to hum The Moffatts' Miss You Like Crazy. Clint continued the song, followed by Scott, Bob and then the whole peeps in the room.
"Hey, that's a good one!" Dave said.
"You bet. I never know you girls are so talented!" Scott praised.
Alex, Claud, Vicky, Timay, Nicol and I smiled at that compliment.
"Could you harmonize?" Scott asked Claudia.
"Hello! We're not in an audition or something," Vicky complained. "So Sarah. Can we go to the backstage at the concert?" Vicky asked, changing the subject.
"Of course!" I panted.
The girls gave me a satisfied smile.
"Ah, it feels so good out from the hell!" I said, stretching my arms high in the air, feeling a lot better.
Nick looked at me and smiled. "Your friends are waiting for you at the hotel."
"Of course!" I said out loud.
Suddenly I saw an officer walking towards me.
Officer Brennan.
"Hi Sarah. It's good to hear that you're recovered," Officer Brennan said.
"Thank you. How about my case?" I asked him.
He took out a notebook from his pocket. He went through all the pages.
"Aha!" he finally said.
"What?"
He sighed. "No clues yet."
I felt so down. "Oh. That's okay."
"If I got something new, I'll call you, okay?" he said.
"Sure."
Nick and I made our way to the parking lot. He clicked the contoller and his car's doors opened. I went into the passenger's seat and buckle up.
He buckled up too and started the engine. He let out a relieved sigh and started to drive the car.
I smiled excitedly. I cannot wait for the concert. I was so hyper about it.
"What d'ya think about us dueting with The Moffatts?" Nick asked.
"Cool!" I submitted.
As we reached the Diamond Hotel, I quickly unbuckle my seatbelt and so do Nick. We both walked quickly into the elevator.
The lift opened. I walked quickly towards Room 701 to search for my friends. But the room was empty. I was so upset.
"Where are they?" I asked Nick.
"Oh, well. It's just the two of us, I guess," he said casually.
I started to walk towards my room with heavy footsteps. I opened the door and when I switched on the lights, I gasped.
"Suprise! Welcome back!" my friends said together.
I startled and fell down. My friends roared with laughter.
"We didn't mean to scare ya!" Timay exclaimed.
I stand back on my stable feet. I looked back and saw Nick smiling sweetly. How sweet of them to prepare this welcoming party.
"Let's party!" I cried.
Scott clicked the play button on the Sony hi-fi. The room was filled with dance song.
"Wanna dance?" Nick asked.
"Sure," I said with no doubt.
We danced to the song La Copa De La Vida by Ricky Martin, the official song to the World Cup '98. It was a hyper song, so I danced quite quick.
I looked around me. Scott was dancing with Claudia. The others just danced by themselves.
Just then, Will Smith's song, Will 2K, was on. We danced and danced.
"I'm hungry," I said to Nick. "Let's go and get some food."
Nick nodded.
I walked to a nearby table. There were lots of junks and food all over the table. I took a plain cheese pizza, my all-time favorite food. Nick took one too.
Gee, eating this pizza made me think about Jade, one of my so-called friend in England, or her nickname 'Pepperoni'. She was a massive fan of Bob Moffatt and just drooled with everything that was on Bob. I was glad that I didn't invited her or else she will end up lying in the insane asylum by now. I was thirsty so I took a can of Coke.
"This time, I'll make sure there's no drugs," I joked.
Nick laughed. "Then don't drink. There's caffeine."
I laughed with him.
I felt so good being stuck in my normal life, besides touring with my favorite band. I was just glad that I was no longer staying in the hospital, which made me sick.
At last but not least, I drank the Coke anyway.
"Hey, Sarah! Try these cookies! I made them myself," Nicol said.
I took a bite. "The taste sucks. Just kidding... it's nice! Can I have some more?" I asked.
Nicol was pleased with my compliment. She placed the jar of cookies on the table.
"Eat as many as you want," she said, returning to the dance.
"Thanks!" I said, trying to beat the loud music.
Scott was dancing wildly to the song Hitchin' A Ride by Green Day. His hair was in a mess but he didn't care. He was having a wonderful time.
"Thanks for the party guys. I had a great time," I thanked them, after we cleaned up the mess in my hotel room.
"Yeah, sure," Claudia said, yawning. "See yah tomorrow."
They all greeted 'Good Night' to each other and went back to their room - except for Nick.
"I really hoped you had a funky time," he said.
"Of course I do," I said to him. "After all, you're the Mr. Organizer."
He smiled and gave me a long, warm kiss.
"See ya," he said.
"You too," I answered.
A few seconds later, I hear a bang at the door. he must've came in his room. Now I could you the time for some rest!
I changed my clothes into a night shirt. I stretched and yawned. I laid on my bed but couldn't shut my eyes.
What should I do?
I took a book from the shelf nearby. I read the title.
'DRUG CAUTIONS' the title said.
Well, a perfect book at the perfect time. I opened the book and started to read. It was so boring. The words faded as I drifted into my slumber...
