I pulled out a big bottle of Clone perfume for my mom.
"Is that it?" he asked, looking at the bottle.
I nodded. "Hey, what did you get?" I asked.
He opened his bag and pulled out a bottle of Sarafi aftershave, an album by Red Hot Chilli Peppers and a magazine.
"I got more than that!" Brian laughed and opened his bag.
He emptied his bag onto the floor by us. "Told ya so!"
We looked at his items - a bottle of Obsession aftershave, a Calvin Klien jumper, a Calvin Klien boxer shorts, three magazines, an album by Brian McKnight, I Could Not Ask For More, a single by Edwin McCain and a new album by Nine Inch Nails.
"Wow," Nick and I said at the same time.
We all laughed.
"B-Rok, pick your things up! We're going now!" Denise panicked.
We all quickly helped Brian put his things and walked to the aeroplane.
"We get to have our own private plane?" I gasped.
Everyone laughed as if I made a joke, which I hadn't.
We all climbed onto the aeroplane. AJ sat at the front on his own, Kevin sat with his bodyguard, Howie was with his sister, Pollyanna while Nick and Brian raced to the end of the plane and grabbed the three seats at the back.
"Hello," Kevin said when I walked past him. "I'm Kevin. You must be the famous Sarah," he held out his hand.
I smiled and shook his hand, blushing. "Yup, I'm Sarah."
Howie jumped up and held out his hand. "Howie," he said.
"Hey, you don't hafta introduce! It's only like 2 people who don't know you!" I joked. "But anyway, I'm Sarah."
"Where are you sitting?" Andrez asked me.
I shook my head. "I dunno. Nick is sitting with Brian - I'm on my own, I guess," I told him.
Andrez sat down. "Then come and sit with me," he offered.
He patted the empty sear by him. I smiled and sat down by him.
"So... what do you do?" I questioned him.
"I'm B-Rok's bodyguard," he replied.
Nick raced up to me. "Why aren't you sitting with us?" he asked, pretending to look upset.
"I thought you were with Brian," Andrez answered for me.
He nodded. "I am. But we have an empty seat. Please come!" he whined.
"No," I protested. "Spend some times with Brian," I pointed to where he was sitting. "GO!"
He pretend to cry. "BRIAN!!!" He banged his foot and walked off.
Andrez laugh his deep laugh. "That man's a clown!"
I smiled as Andrez had the worst laugh. It was such a funny laugh that it made me laughed too.
Andrez stopped laughing. "What?"
I stopped as well. "It's your laugh."
He smiled. "Buckle up," he ordered and buckled his seat belt across his waist.
I did the same and waited to take off. The plane slowly took off, causing my ears to pop.
"Did your ears pop?" Andrez asked while unbuckling his seat belt.
I nodded while sticking my finger in my ear. "My ear kills now," I mumbled to myself.
I unbuckled my belt and leaned my chair back.
"Watch it!" someone cried from behind. I turned around and saw a girl with brown hair at AJ's age.
"Sorry," I apologized. "Sarah," I held out my hand.
She smiled and shook my hand. "Amanda," she looked at me. "If you don't mind me asking but who are you?"
"I'm Nick's girlfriend," I explained.
I smiled to myself, thinking how nice it was to say the statement that I was Nick's girlfriend.
Amanda nodded. "Good. It's about time he has a girlfriend."
"If you don't mind me asking - who are you?" I asked her back.
"I'm AJ's girlfriend," she answered.
"You mean... the Innosense gal?" I asked her.
She nodded and smiled. "What's wrong?" she asked.
"Just asking," I shrugged. "Nice to meet you, anyway," I told her.
"Nice to meet you too," she answered.
I turned back round and saw Nick walk over to my seat.
"Just met Amanda, didn't you?" he asked me.
I nodded. "I thought AJ wasn't going out with that Amanda girl anymore," I asked.
"Oh he wasn't.. until a week ago," Nick explained.
I opened the fold out table and laid my head on it.
"Tired?" Nick asked.
I closed my eyes and yawned. "Yeah. I guess I am."
"Jess, wake up. We're here," Andrez whispered into my ear.
I slowly opened my eyes. "Where am I?" I asked, still in a dream.
"You're on a plane which about to land in Germany," he said.
I rubbed my eyes. "I forgot."
"Seat belt on," he reminded me.
The plane touched down.
"Oh my God! Look at the fans!" AJ exclaimed. He was looking out the window and saw all the German fans in the airport.
I looked out. "Wow, there's tons!"
Andrez nodded. "There was more than that in France."
Could you get any more? I thought to myself as I looked at all the thousands of fans.
"Hey girl," Nick came over and kissed me.
"Oh, hey Nick," I smiled and rubbed my eyes again.
"So," Nick said while sitting himself on my arm rest. "How was the flight?"
I yawned. "I slept all the way. I hate flying," I told him.
"Well, tell me about it," Nick said sarcastically.
He grabbed my hand. "Come and sit with us."
I walked down with him to the end of the plane. Brian was lying across the three seats, walkman on, eyes closed, with magazines, bag and drinks surrounding him.
"What a tip," I said, while picking a sweet wrapper to sit down.
"Hey, this is home!" Nick joked and plopped down by me.
Nick shoved Brian. Brian jumped and opened his eyes.
"We're here," Nick told him.
Brian smiled and rubbed his eyes. His hair was a total mess. One side of his hair was stuck to his face were he had been sleeping and the other side had stayed the same. Dark circles has formed under his eyes. he was quite flushed in the face and took off his Tommy jumper to reveal a black T-shirt.
"What a hairbrush?" I offered him and took a hairbrush from his bag.
"Thanks," he mumbled. "Here ya go," he handed the brush back to me and walked off to go to the toilet.
Andrez came over. "Where's Brian?" he asked.
"Toilet," I told him.
He nodded and picked Brian's bag for him. "You two kids make your way down to the front of the plane."
We stood up and walked down to the front. Everyone, including me, bowed our heads and Randy, the head security, recited a brief prayer. Then we all reached our right arms into the center of the ring, hands touching.
"BACKSTREET!" they all shouted. I knew this one, I said to myself. It's the chant in the PPV concert.
"What time is it?!" Randy cried.
"It's time for me to go to work y'all.." They all sang.
"What kind of work?!" Randy cried again.
"Hard work, uh!" we all exclaimed.
"It's the Backstreet chant," Andrez explained to me. "We do it before we do anything. It's for good luck."
I smiled and tried to search for Nick. But he had already walked off the plane with Brian.
As I walked out, the heat of the sun hit me. So did all the screaming. The noise was deafing. Girls - and some aging mothers, chanting the boys' name, singing along to BSB records, or just screaming. Kevin walked over to a bunch of girls and started to sign autographs and stuff. I went to follow him but Nick grabbed my arm.
"Come and meet the fans," he said and pulled me over.
"Do I have to?" I whined.
He grinned and put his arm around me. "Girls, this is Sarah," he told the girls.
The girls smiled a forced-smile at me and then turned their attention back to Nick. One girl kept her eye on me. She looked at me up and down, a look of disgust pointed on her face.
"So, are you.. you know, Nick's girlfriend?" she asked annoyingly.
I smiled a sweet smile, though I felt like slapping the girl. "Uh, yes, I am."
She turned to Nick. "Nick it's me!" she cried from across the barricade.
Nick looked at her oddly. "Me who?" Nick asked.
"I have your child!!!!" she cried.
Nick looked at her oddly. She started to cry and faint. I felt so sorry for her even though she acted so devilish to me just now. I helped the bodyguards to carry her to a safer place.
Then I ran off with Nick to get ready to go to the hotel.
