When Nick, Brian, AJ, Howie, Kevin, Jules, Sarah, and AJ's girlfriend, Mel arrived at the "IWITW" shoot, the guys began preparing, and were told to go to wardrobe as the others waited patiently. All the fans that were going to be in this video were gathered all around, everywhere you look. They were excited, and nervous to meet their idols... their favorite band.
The girlfriends, Sarah, Jules, and Mel, were all chatting behind the 'scenes.' There was another girl there, who stood out extraordinarly. She was very beautiful, with strawberry blode hair, accented with golden blonde highlights. Her mesmerizing, bright green eyes looked as of from a Hawaii beach, the water's color deeeep green. The girl's name was Grace, and Mel (or Melanie) had brought her. They were both friends from highschool. Grace was a Backstreet Boys fan, but as far as she knew it, she had her eye on only one guy.... someone else..... someone else like Nick.
After they finished the shoot, Sarah ran up to Nick and kissed him as a way of saying "Congrats!" in sign language. Grace seemed to be a little upset, too. The guys, their girlfriends, and grace all decided to go out to eat, a cause for celebration. They got to know each other a little better, also.
Nick watched Grace from the distance, and stared at how beautiful she was, even though he felt a little guilty. Sarah didn't realize her boyfriend was staring at HER though.
She LOOKED like an angel..... but Sarah didn't think she was even close to being one. She envied Grace because she could tell that Grace wanted her Nick.... trying to put the moves on him and all. Sarah was determined not to let her, and to take whatever it DOES take for Grace to keep away from Nick..."knowing" that Nick probably wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole anyway.
Nick remembered suddenly that he said on a chat transcript if he only had twenty-four hours left to his life, he would gather all the people he ever met, together, to come and spend his last minutes with him. He also said that the song he would sing on that day would be "Amazing Grace." All that came back to him when grace politley introduced herself to the group/the guys, and of course Nick. Now, he wonders if Grace IS really amazing.
After dinner, everyone went back into the limo, each of them heading home. Half way there, Kevin, Jules, Brian, Howie, AJ, Mel, and Sarah, all decided to go check out some mall they passed real quick, to pick up some things, which would leave Grace and Nick left alone together, in the backseat of the limo.
Of course Sarah definitly didn't like that idea, so just one more time to make sure, she asked, "Nick baby, you sure you don't wanna come?"
"Umm, yah, I'm a littlle worn out.... that's why. You go ahead," Nick answered, running his hands through his silky blonde hair. And, that he was tired was the truth.
He would never lie to Sarah, he never COULD. Nick was careful to be faithful to all his girlfriends, but especially to the ones like Sarah, who he's involved in a serious relationship with.
"So.....Nick, what's goin' on in your life?" Grace asked curiously, batting her eyelashes, TRYING to look charming.
"Ahhhh....nothing really...." Nick replied, moving away from Grace, and not very amused as he gave her a weird look.
"Well then, how about I change that?...." Grace offered, in an obvious voice that screamed "Flirting". With that, she slammed her lips against Nick's, attacking him with them. Nick's eyes bulged out, right when....
"Omigod!" Sarah screamed, when she came back, opened the limo's car door, and saw the two kissing. "I can't believe this!!" Sarah spoke again, screaming that louder than she expected. Nick got out of the limo and ran after Sarah as fast as he could.
"Sarah wait, I can explain!!" Nick shouted, obviously angry that Sarah interperted the scene that ripped her heart, in the wrong way. Bit, it was too late because Brian was already after her, telling Sarah to stop running so she can tell him what went wrong between her and Nick. Brian noticed this time, unlike Nick, that he was there for Sarah.... He really liked Sarah with his whole heart, and the position he is...? ...in right now is really tending to bug him.
He likes his friend's girl.
His friend did something to "his" girl.
Nick and Sarah look like they will break up anyway, the cause:
Brian can't have feelings for his friend's girl.
If they break up he couldn't go out with her right away after they just did.
All those thoughts were making him dizzy, and his head spin. It was all too mind-boggiling, so Brian took a deep breath, and forgot about them all.
"Sarah, what happenned?" Brian asked.
"Nothing! Go away!" I said, not really meaning it, but I was pissed and heart-broken.
The song "Heartbreaker" by Mariah Carey suddenly popped into my head, but I didn't feel like I was in the singing mood, obviously, after what had just occured.
"No, come on, tell me, please, I can help!" Brian attempted once again, concentrating more this time.
"You really wanna know what's goin' on, don't you? Why don't you just ask your jerk friend [Nick] over there, and my ex?!" I shouted loudly, bursting out with tears.
"Brian!" I finally managed to choke out, calming down a little more, "Brian, Nick was cheating on me!! I saw him and that Grace chick together, and they were kissing!!" I yelled.
"Grace, the one AJ's girl, Mel brought?! But they're friends, and......!?" Brian asked, totaly confused and perplexed.
"YES!! I mean, it's so unbeliveable.... I mean, Mel is a nice girl, becasue, of course AJ I know, would date only sweet girls like her - and, but...Mel's friend is a bitch!! She knows I.... I WAS," I finally said, "Going out with Ni - Nick," I continued and stuttered. "And, she made a move on him anyway ...And he let her... " I replied, tears in my deep brown eyes again.
"Brian - Valentine's Day... is tomorrow..... what am I going to do?!?"
