"I'm not sure, Nick," I replied, waiting unpatiently in the long line during lunch that day. Just then, I heard AJ's rather loud voice from behind Nick, and I. We both turned around...
"Hey, yo, wassup, wassup, yal?" AJ said, as he motioned for us to advance, to come closer to him.
"What are you doing here, AJ?" Nick asked, curiously.
"Oh, I thought I'd just drop by to check and see how everything's goin' at school, believe it or not, I miss this place!... Hey, don't you guyz gimme that look... Okay, so maybe I DON'T MISS THIS PLACE!!" AJ squezzing in-between me, and Nick, as he put one arm around my shoulder, and his other arm around Nick's.
"How about I get you guys some lunch too, instead of waiting in this crowded, wait-TOO-long, line?! It's on me too...Whaddya say?"
"Sure, but why are you being TOO nice to us...I'm a lil' suspicious..." Nick said.
"Okay, come on Nick, we don't have much time left!" I said, as I tugged on Nick's arm so we could leave.
"Okay, chill out!" Nick, and AJ said in unision.
"Cool," They exclaimed because that they said the same thing at the SAME time...and then laughed. I gave them that look that expressed, 'oh-no-you-will-get-your-ass-kicked-guyz-don't-think-about-it-and-this-is-a-warning.' They must've understood what I was trying to get across because they quickly followed me, leaving the crowded line full of seniors complaining about how it's taking so long, and emerged from the school building. Nick and I were both full of eagerness to finally leave the school, even if it meant for only thirty minutes.
"I can't believe you Alexander James McClean!" I screamed to AJ, at the top of my lungs. "You would at least think you would do us some good, and take me, an Nick back to school as fast as possible. Haha...as if we have much time left to school anyway!" I said, sarcastically. I continued on, and on, only fooling around though. I mean, I had to admit that I myself enjoy a day of skipping half of school. After all, I've waited long enough, and now I have more freedom...'bout time...I kept goin', and AJ was gettin' pretty annoyed. I stiffled a giggle.
"Okay, okay, YOU GOT ME! K? Sorry...ummm...hey, well, I gotta go take care of some business, I'll catch yal later. See ya 'round!" AJ suddnly spoke, as he advanced to reach his car from the mall exit, where we were standing. He started the engine, then Nick 'HAD' to have a few words with AJ, so he said "Bye," and the usual, after I had said "Bye." AJ's car slowly, and smoothly postioned itself out of the parking lot, as it disappered out of our eyesight, him heading home to get some sleep, and get ready for his date with his girlfriend.
Nick, and Sarah decided to leave the local mall, and go to "Nature's Park." They wanted sometime alone...together. When they arrived, the park was empty, and they walked under the sunny sky together, hands intertwined. They made their way to the bright green grass, and then suddenly Nick came face to face with Sarah, and put his arms around her thin waist, as he gently, but quickly lifted her up slightly, and whispered something sweet in her ear. He went round, and round in circles as he held her, twirling her around, and then let her go. She laughed softly, and he laughed with her.
Nick thought Sarah looked absolutely beautiful with her hair blowing back in the cool, fresh wind. She stopped, and took a seat on a swing, placing each hand on each side of the swing's chains. She began to play with the rocks that lay still on the ground, kicking them around with her shoes. She looked down. Nick then began to ponder because it seemed like something was bothering Sarah. Nick started massaging her back... Then, her shoulders....
He hugged her from behind as tight as he could and realized that he couldn't EVEN imagine a day not being with Sarah, and spending all his time with her, as often as he does now. Her every move, touch, and every moment he sees her in, is preciuos, and valuable to Nick, and he has never addressed that to her before. Nick finally knew that she WAS the one...Maybe he should tell her his deep feelings... maybe he should soon.............
Sarah pushed a few of her light brown hair's strands that fell forward, out of her face. She felt the wind rush harder, and harder...and surround her more, and more. Then, there was more wind than ever, so far. She only had a short-sleeved shirt on, so by now, of course she was freezing cold. She rubbed both her hands on each arm, making an 'X' cross, that had shaped from her hand movement. She had goosebumps, and started to shiver.
"Oh, baby, you cold?" Nick asked Sarah, obviously concerned, as he held her in his arms from behind, and kissed her cheeks gently a few times. They sat on a bench together, both arroused in deep silence, until Nick broke it.
"Ya, I am, a lil'..." Sarah replied, and then trailed off. Now, she got chills from being so cold.
"Here," Nick exclaimed, taking his black jacket off himself, and handing it to his girlfriend.
"Awwww, thanx Nick. That's so sweet of you, I love you so much, baby," Sarah spoke, open-heartedly.
"I love you too, baby. I will forever." Those were the last words that echoed out of Nick's voice before him and Sarah exited the park together, heading straight home.........
I was having Thanksgiving Holidays...so that's why I haven't updated in awhile! I hope ya enjoyed this chapter, and I think it is just so beautiful, and sweet, so I dedicate it to my good buddy, Melissa! You know who you are! ;) UPDATES SOON! HOLD ON....!
