"Let's see here. Stacey, no, too talkative. Cara, nah, doesn't talk enough.... they're not for me. Ah, Jules, now SHE was perfect, I should give 'er a call." Kevin muttered under his breath, as he was looking at the unfolded napkins that revealed phone numbers of girls that he met the other night at a night club called "ThE RoxY." He punched in the following numbers: (106) 555-6132 And waited patiently for the other end of the line to pick up.
One ring.
RING!!
Two rings.
RING!!
Three...
RING!!
Kevin was about to place the phone back into its receiver until he heard...
"HEY!" A very perky, but [can be] also down-to-earth girl spoke, suddenly. "Sorry I took so long to answer...I just got out of the shower..."
"Really...umm, yeah--" Kevin stuttered, his face turning a sudden shade of crimson red, effecting from the thought of Jules wrapped in only one peice of clothing...a towel. "Well, Hi Jules! Um, this is Kevin from last night..." Kevin said.
"Mmm, hmm...yeah...?" She asked, in a charming, sweet, voice, taking a seat on her bed, and grabbing a some chips from the chips- bag.
"Yeah, I was wondering..." Kevin stated as he played with the small vases that hold his *flowers* he got from his fans, that *lay* on his dining room table.....
"I was wondering if you want to see me again...tonight?" He continued, waiting to hopefully hear a "Yeah, sure..." or some phrase along those lines.
Startled, and a little shocked, but happy, she replied, "Sure, Kevin! That'd be great." Jules heart was doing flips inside out because she REALLY liked Kevin, and she thought to herself,
'I never expected him to ask me out. Yet alone, I never expected him to call me, too.'
Her night would be named "Unknown Expectations" for the time being. She knew that's what she liked to call it. And actually, that's what it is... Jules couldn't wait to have a exciting night out with her dream guy.
"For the last time, NO, I'm sorry sweetie," My mom practically screamed out those words.
"Come on, Mom, I love you, would you just let me, please....Please? I just want to spend this Valentine's weekend with Nick, we really need some time together." I stated.
"Honey, I know that, but--" Her mom didn't get to finish.
"Please, mom!" Sarah interuptted, knowing that she has done enough convincing, but nothing was working. "Nick means the world to me! AND, I'll be TOTALLY responsible." She spoke again, not wanting to say the next word... "I promise..." I said that almost under a whisper.
"I guess so, honey. If you really want to do that..." Sarah's mom replied.
"YESSSSSSS!" I shouted, having the most moving, and drastic moment of my life to me, so far.
"Oh wait, not that quick, hun. You know you have to be back early Sunday night, do you understand me?" My mom questioned, with a concerned look on her face.
"Yes, I do, thanks!" I said, full of excitement as my head was busy thinking of all the events I may face soon.
"YESSSSSSS!" I said to myself when my Mom exited the large living room, her heading to the kitchen to whip up some dinner.
I knew I couldn't be happier. But, all I had on my mind was something else... Something wild.
