Parade takes radical turn

Local attorney Rose Sanders, surrounded by onlookers, attempts to pull down the Nathan Bedford Forrest monument Monday, January 15, 2001 (MLK Day). The monument has been a hotbed of controversy since it was erected. This makes me sick to my stomach! If any white person had done this to a MLK monument they would be locked up and called racist. The double standards these days are ruining the South.
