Jacob Balderston seemed to have his own problems with the Quaker precepts. He had been discharged from attending the Quaker Monthly Meetings for training with the Militia.
The following information comes from More Micheners in America which was compiled by Anna E. Shaddinger.
Jacob Balderson was born May 12, 1785 in Horsham, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He married Esther Worral. She was born October 22, 1782. He was a minor of West Grove Meeting October 1, 1803 when complaints were made for his mustering. April 7, 1804 he was disowned by New Garden Meeting for mustering. He died in Pennsville, Ohio May 22 1856. She died there March 22, 1864.
Children: Joseph, John H., Mary, Jonathan,
George, Elizabeth, Ann, Rachel, Sarah. Old Manuscript also gives Hannah.
