The Fightin' Seventh
In July Engine 7 received a phone call at the station from a citizen who stated there was a black snake in her basement, she said that after calling the police and animal control that she could find no one to help her. She said the Fire Department was her last resort. So armed with a pike pole and flashlight, Engine 7's crew safely removed the unharmed snake and release it back into the woods.
