Fire Chief Bruce Pagan will award promotions to the following DFD employees:
-- Barry Yeargan to assistant fire chief and assigned to fire administration.

-- Randy Baker to battalion chief and assigned to Battalion 2-B.

In addition, Monday's ceremony will also recognize the following department employees for promotions that became effective July 1:

-- Angelica Stroud to captain, assigned to Engine 13-A.

-- Mark McCowan to captain, assigned to Ladder 12-B.

-- Dan Gillespie to captain, assigned to Engine 16-C.

-- Dawn White to fire technician, assigned to Engine 13-C.

-- Matthew Abramson to fire technician, assigned to Engine 3-B.

-- Jimmie Wright to fire technician, assigned to Engine 8-A.
