River - "Objects in Space"

I decided today to make this costume as my first Firefly based outfit. It's a pink paisley sundress with a net/lace jacket. The dress is sleeveless, unlined, and has a scoop neck. The skirt is a fairly full A-line. The jacket is also sleeveless. It ties in the front. I have a jacket almost exactly like River's. Here's a picture of it (front and side):

I'll probably use Simplicity 9691 as my pattern base.
