Chapter Eleven -- Shining Star
"Lori... why?"
"Nick, I think you might be confusing yourself. First of all, we almost spend everyday together in the month before I left, and then you found the letter. Maybe you're just missing me as a friend, but the letter confused you that there are more." I started to cry. I really love him, but I don't want to make a mistake.
"Lori, that's not true, I went to the airport and went to your house because I miss you. I started to miss you before I found the letter."
"Nick, I just don't want to make a mistake and eventually ruining our friendship..." Before I could say anything more, Nick pulled me towards him and kissed me on the lips passionately.
"I always know what exactly I'm doing..." This was the first time I ever saw him being this serious. "And I wanna tell you, this will never be a mistake, are you saying yes?"
I was crying so hard that I couldn't say anything. I just nodded my head with tears in my eyes. Nick held me tightly in his arms.
"Lori... it's cold out here, don't get sick.. come on.. let's go back..."
"Okay... I don't wanna sleep though, can we talk all night like we used to?"
"Of course... deal!"
~ In the hotel room ~
"Actually... I saw you at the airport that day, but you could not see me."
"So the girls were screaming because of you? Now I get it."
"Yep... I just couldn't make my way through."
"It's okay..."
"How long are you gonna stay in HK?"
"probably 2-3 more months."
"man... I have to prepare for the album... I'm gonna miss you..."
"Nick, one word said it all, TRUST... and I guess everything will be fine." I smiled.
"Of course... I'm not gonna let go of you." He held me in his arms.
~ Next morning -- 5:00 am ~
<KNOCK KNOCK>
"Lori, it's Jonathan, we gotta go now."
"Okay..." I opened the door. "Good morning Jonathan!"
"Wow! You're in such a good mood today, Lori... where are your suitcases?"
"Well, I've got a bell-boy." Nick rushed out. "You call me a bell-boy?" He held me from the back, both of us started to laugh.
Jonathan looked really shocked. "Wo... Wo... am I missing something here?" He was scared that something he had worried about for months have finally taken place. Jonathan really liked Lori, but Nick is always his strongest threat. "Don't tell me two hottest stars at the present time are going out..."
"Jon, is that a lucky guess?" I asked. "But anyways, too bad you don't have a prize for a right answer."
Jonathan stood there, looking really shocked and upset.
"Jon, are you okay?" Nick asked.
"Yea... Just can't believe it's happening so fast... anyways... Lori, we really gotta go."
I turned to Nick. "Take care Nick..."
"u too Lori... call me once you get there..." He kissed me.
"Bye Nick." I picked up my suitcases and left with Jonathan.
