This page is dedicated to WelshSoldierBlue, whom I
am sorry to say
has passed from this earth, and has begun a new
journey. Kevin was
a good friend to many, always taking time to listen
to your problems,
and seemingly to have none of his own except to a
choice few people
that were lucky to be close enough to him that he
could confide in.
One being Andrew, O4fuxakes. It was thru O4 that I
met "SoldierBlue"
as some of us affectionately called him. Kevins
passion was
archery, and I am told that he was excellent at it.
I am including
in this tribute to Blue, a few things he had
written on his site
about his family and his personal life. You will
surely be missed
my friend, and as you always said
. . . "Fly With The Eagles" . . .
. . . . "Ladywolf" . . . .
Kevin Flanigan, born in 1952 in Cardiff.Lived in
Wales most of life
and was very proud of his Welsh heritage. Enjoyed
country/coastal
walks, photography, diy, skittles and of course
Archery.
He was Records Officer and Assistant Coach of
Penarth Bowmen.
Kevin has 5 children and 4 grandchildren. His
eldest son is also
an archer..
He recently completed his qualifying training as a
Coach
within G.N.A.S.
G.N.A.S. Coach.
W.A.A.C.G. Coach.
G.N.A.S. Archery Leader
. . . . He is Gone . . . .
You can shed tears that he is gone
or you can smile because he has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come
back
or you can open your eyes and see all he's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see him
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live
yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of
yesterday.
You can remember him and only that he's gone
or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn
your back
or you can do what he'd want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
If any of you would like to make a tag in
honor of Kevin, I will be most happy to add
it to his tribute page.
