Wake Forest University

This is where I post pictures of the "Greatest Institute of Higher Learning Ever Established"* and all the Demon Deacons.

*Thank you Kurt, for that perfect way of describing Wake!

This is a collage of pictures from our 94-80 double overtime (that's right, two OT's!) win over the Dook Blued Evils on 13 Feb 2003. Most exhuasting and exciting basketball game I've ever been to. Post-game included a rushing of the court and a great quad rolling.

Big ole Eric Williams celebrating with the students after a big win.

Our All-American forward Josh Howard showing his major hops at a game in the Dean Dome.

A photoshopped image of our basketball coach Skip Prosser as a Jedi. He got this nickname for his uncanny way of staying cool and finding a way to win. Along with football coach Jim Grobe, our Athletic Director Ron Wellman has made two brilliant hires.

Funny story behind this picture. A few years ago, Wake had a game in Cameron Indoor against the Dookies. One of our walk-ons was a linebacker on the football team by the name of Ed Kargbokarogie (i'm not kidding). During the warm-ups, the Dookies started chanting something to the effect of "Eddie K can't dunk." So, good ole Ed lays down a monster jam and breaks the friggin' glass on the backboard. And no, Dookies, you can't draw a technical foul during warm-ups. But with the insane officiating bias that Duke benefits from every game at Cameron, I wouldn't be suprised if a tech was called.

You think I was joking about bias refs at the Cameron? J.J. Reddick is punching Big E in the head and there was no foul called!!!

The beautiful image of TP on trees. This, my friends, it what's called "rolling the quad" and Wake students have been doing it for a VERY long time after Wake wins.

Wake Forest University: 2003 Seattle Bowl Champions

My favorite picture of the Quad. That day I had a lot of fun playing football in the snow on the Quad.

Picture of the Deacon Pep Band and the Screamin' Deacons. I'm somewhere in there and Kurt in playoing his sax second from the left on the third row of band members.

Tight end Ray Thomas with a great catch against Clemson at Wake's Groves Stadium.

Trent Strickland crowd surfing after a win over Dook. The sign he has says "Dahntay's Inferno is Cold as Hell," refering to Dook player Dahntay Jones who, by the way, was 0 of 13 from the field that game.

Vytas Danielus with a monster slam.

A cool landscape image of the band and students at a basketball game.

Wake Forest legend Randolph Childress right before he hits the game-winning shot against Chapel Hell.

Tim Duncan; pretty sure you know who this guy is.

Hey, here's a novelty! Wake basketball players actually, gasp!, stay for FOUR WHOLE YEARS! My word! How do we do it!?!?!?!?

Bling, bling!

James McPherson throwing a pass. This is the second pass play I've shown even though we ran the ball 75% of the time last year! And I'm still not kidding!

That's more like it!

That's it for now, folks, but as soon as I find me some more pics I will be sure to put them up here so stay tuned.
