This web page is the culmination of a lot of work over the course of the year in our AP Literature course at Sun Valley High School in the metropolis of Monroe ... in North Carolina.  (That's a whole lot in one sentence.)  We decided to dive into the work of Toni Morrison after we said to ourselves, "Selves, we've looked at Joyce, Faulkner, Will Shakespeare, Conrad, and a bevy of others...who else can we examine, pick apart, chew up and see some aspect of ourselves as individuals and as a society?"  Morrison seemed like a logical choice.

I'm proud of the work my students put into this, and into the whole year.  I particularly want to thank Jennifer and Morgan for all of their patience and perseverance.  Rock on, you two.
