Psychic Claims BSB To Split

The Backstreet Boys will break up later this month, according to a prediction by top US psychic, Dikki-Jo Mullen. The end of the band has been a hot tabloid story for months now but Mullen made the prediction early this year before speculation about the group's demise and before AJ McLean's rehab visit.

According to Mullen, Brian and Nick will pursue successful solo careers, Howie will do stand-up comedy and Kevin will hit the lecture circuit. AJ's shot at going solo might make him wish that the group was back together. Mullen says something will happen later this month that will change the Backstreet Boys forever and has this tip: 'Look for Nick to be at the centre of it.'

She adds, 'There's a little bit of anger and controversy around him from now until 6 December. He might argue with the others and there could be a tendency for him to offend fans.'

Mullen notes what he says is the rare occurrence of 'a blue moon in November' which portends strange twists of fate. It falls in Gemini which is the moon sign for Howie, Nick and Brian. That common moon sign also means the Boys might have performed together in a past life.

The blue moon 'could mean an unusual offer for some but not all of them,' Mullen says. 'It could mean they suddenly change the direction of their art. They could draw in one new person and drop someone.'

Mullen adds, 'I feel that one of the performers could be leaving and I feel I want to go with Nick. The others could take someone else in to work with them.' 'I feel that periodically for many years, they will get together and perform together, then they will go separate ways and do other things. I want to use the word reunion.'

This week the Backstreet Boys released Chapter One, their greatest hits, but Kevin Richardson told MTV that the group recorded five demos for a new album during their recent US tour that ended 19 October in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile Michael Jackson's Invincible is outselling the Backstreet Boys' Chapter One in the US, say retailers and is expected to debut at No 1. 'Honestly, we expected Michael to flop and to come in behind the Backstreet Boys,' says Mick Camacho, general manager of Chicago's Tower Records.

haha.....well we know that aint true
