FROM COAST TO COAST FROM SEA TO SEA, I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER WHAT OUR FLAG STANDS FOR. IT STANDS FOR LIBERTY AND FREEDOM. BUT MOST OF ALL, I WILL REMEMBER WHERE AND WHO FLEW IT. IT WAS FLOWN IN BATTLE AND AT GRAVES. AND, I WILL PROUDLY FLY MY FLAG TODAY. IT'S BEEN FLOWN THROUGH THE YEARS BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE DIED IN BATTLE AND PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE FOR OUR LIBERTY. I WILL PROUDLY SAY TO ANYONE, "I AM AN AMERICAN AND I'M PROUD TO BE ONE." LET US FLY OUR FLAG AND REMEMBER WHAT AND WHO IT STANDS FOR. OUR FLAG STILL FLIES TODAY, MORE PROUDLY THAN EVER. HONOR OUR FLAG AND YOU ARE HONORING WHAT THIS COUNTRY STANDS FOR. IF YOU DISGRACE OUR FLAG, YOU DISGRACE OUR COUNTRY. IT'S AS SIMPLE AS THAT. I WILL PROUDLY FLY OUR FLAG, TODAY, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS. EVEN AS WE GO TO WAR, OUR FLAG WILL STAND. GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.

| THE AMERICAN SPIRIT Back to Top
The American Spirit is a vast Golden heart. It is the way an American is one of a part.
Its determination is a vast wonderland. They join together in times of need in the holy way to show their support in a band.
No country or terrorist group can stop us from shining our Golden light,
given to us from our Almighty Lord, our God.
As it is said, "In God We Trust."
We come together in times of need
of the American Spirit.
As in the Movie "Pearl Harbor"
an attack like that will wake up "A Sleeping Giant", where God leads us down the Path of Victory and Good."
We all love America, Almighty!!!

AMERICANS Back to Top
We are a people, proud and strong. We stretch across this land. We've fought at times, through history. For Liberty, we stand.
We've stood by countries, large and small, To guarantee their rights. We've always sent the best we had And won these righteous fights.
Our Flag and Eagle fly above They're symbols of our might. They also keep us focused. And with God, we do unite.
The Character, of this great land, Is shown in all we do. We've nursed the sick and fed the poor,
Before they asked us to.
"In God We Trust" is written on Our coins and in our heart.
And from the freedom we proclaim, We never will depart.
We're proud to be Americans.
And with God's help, we'll stay The free and thriving people of The grand ole U.S.A.

GONE -BUT NOT- FORGOTTEN Back to Top
THE SADDEST OF TIMES HAVE FALLEN ON OUR NATION; OUR LOSS OF LIVES, FROM GOD'S CREATION.
A TRIBUTE TO THE FIREFIGHTERS, BOTH BOLD AND BRAVE. WE THANK YOU ALL FOR THE LIVES THAT YOU HAVE SAVED.
A SALUTE TO OUR POLICE OFFICERS, WHO PROTECT AND SERVE. THE HIGHEST OF HONORS YOU ALL DESERVE.
FOR ALL THE KIND PEOPLE WE LOST IN SEPTEMBER, THERE'S SOMETHING YOU SHOULD ALL REMEMBER.
YOU WERE ALL TAKEN, AGAINST GOD'S WILL. BUT FOR EVER AND EVER, WE WILL REMEMBER YOU STILL.
YOU WILL NEVER BE GONE FROM THE LOVE OF GOD'S HANDS. TOGETHER, FOR EVER, WE WILL ALL STAND.
OUR NATION WAS SADDENED, THAT SEPTEMBER DAY, WHEN SO MANY OF OUR LOVED ONES WERE CALLED AWAY.
EACH DAY THAT GOES BY, WE WILL MISS YOU EVEN MORE; BUT WILL SEE YOU, SOMEDAY, ON HEAVEN'S GOLDEN SHORE.

OUR EAGLE CRIES -=*=- -=*=- -=*=- Back to Top
The morning of September 11th, Two Thousand and One, I watched in horror and disbelief at the destruction which was done. A feeling of helplessness throughout me did flow, And my heart filled with tears I could not control. A feeling of terror struck deep within me. Who could be next and would tomorrow ever be? And as I watched the burning towers as they fell, I felt like I was looking at a glimpse into hell.
I could not believe the devastation I saw, The depths of despair which would affect us all. The fire fighters and policemen who answered that first call, Without thinking of their own peril, but trying to help us all.
But, through it all to God my soul turned, Praying for everyone in this calamity touched and burned. I can't begin to understand, any of it at all. But, of this I know it has to be a wake-up call.
For this our country of which we are so proud, To respond to these evil deeds of a terrible coward, We must hold our heads up ever so high; Even though our American Eagle does shed tears from his eye.
Our spirit is strong and our dedication is true, We all re-pledge allegiance to the Red, White and Blue, And as our Eagle cries for all the world to hear, The nation bows it head in prayer, but NOT in fear
We have felt much pain, suffering and grief, But we stand resolved and strong in our American belief! So, that terrible 11th day of September Is now burned into history as a time to always remember.

So, ole Bin Laden chickened out.
He's hiding secretly. He's not accepting credit for This terrorizing spree.
In years gone by, he stood up proud And said, "Yes, I'm the one ... The one who trains the terrorists. I do it and it's fun"
But, not this time. He runs to hide. The terror's coming home. He's racked with fear, 'cause now he knows There's no place he can roam.
As surely as the time goes by, The world will come to see That ole Bin Laden will become A scourge in history.
His time is marked. He's walking dead, And this he knows for sure. And as we fight for righteousness, I'm sure we will endure.
I say, with soberness of heart, We'll fly the warring trail.
With God's help and humble hearts, Our freedom will prevail.

WE THE CHRISTIANS OF THE UNITED STATES:
Will get down on our knees, and pray.
God is Commander of this battalion, Who deserves our praise, with every gold medallion.
We stand United, in His cause. We know Our Lord won't let us fall.
He stands beside us as we pray And He will lead us to victory, come what may.
The Wars we fight, in Jesus' name, Will never cease or be in vain.
Steadfast and loyal, side by side; With God our Savior, Friend, and Guide.
Our Lord of Lords and King of Kings
Will fight this "Terror" Satan brings.
And when this battle against "Evil" is done, You'll find it's 'God, Our Commander, whose won!'
In remembrance of those who were killed, and wounded in the bombing of the World Trade Center in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC. America mourns, and prays with you. May God bless, and comfort all of you.

SILENT TEARS Back to Top
They were silent tears, that fell that day. They fell for those who passed away.
Through gritted teeth, that had to say, We've lost our best. For them, we pray.
These silent tears, that fall like rain From reddened eyes, our cheeks they stain. They signify our countries pain. And yet, we will arise again.
Though countless tears, we all have cried; Are always wet and never dried. The innocent are on God's side. We are resolved in nations pride.

Our hearts are heavy for those who are lost. The families, the heroes, are the ones who pay the cost.
Our heroes are those
who gave their very lives; The women and the children, the husbands and the wives.
They've rocked our nation, broken our hearts. They've created our tears with big metal darts.
I just want to say, "We're here, near or far apart, Many people mourn your loss heart, to heart, to heart."

HOW CAN I? Back to Top
How can I heal this broken heart, This all consuming pain? Should I try to heal myself Or, call on Jesus' name?
My dear ones, now, have perished. I just don't understand. Dreams are shattered, lives destroyed; Due to one demented man.
Friends and family console me. Still, there's an empty void inside. I have this need to seek refuge; To sustain my grief and hide.
I must seek solace from above. There's just no other way. The Lord said He would comfort me, If, only, I would pray.
May God Bless and Comfort all of you. © 2002 by Vickie Lambdin vlambdin@2geton.net

| LET GOD'S HEALING BEGIN Back to Top
We will never forget, that September day, When our loved ones were taken, unjustly, away. These were cruel and senseless acts; Consisting of bombings and evil attacks.
We all held hands and prayed, as we cried; Trembling, shaking, and asking God, "Why?" Angels gathered around the Lord's throne, As gently, He summoned His sheep to come home.
Remembering loved ones and the good times we had, In knowing the good, we'll relinquish the bad. Loved ones are gone, to be with God, up above. We know in our hearts, they're surrounded by love.
So, let us hold, dear, this love deep within. And, as we rise from the ashes, Let God's Healing Begin!

TWIN TOWERS Back to Top
My sisters and brothers are bleeding and torn, The
rain has come down, weary and worn.
They keep fighting fires ... fumes
... debris; Listening hard for what they can't see ...
Hoping,
praying, heavy hearted, depressed ... Needing, so badly, a full night of
rest.
Like a double light house, for the whole world to see, An
outline of freedom - beside the great sea.
People came and went, with no
worry at all; Knowing these buildings never could fall.
Beautiful
Lady, with torch held so high, The freedom you offer ... will it now
die?
On the high plains, too, America weeps- And prayers are
offered. Many vigils we keep.
We ache to reach out and comfort
their wounds And pray God will intervene, come to us soon ...
Before
mistakes are made we can't recall, Bringing utter destruction to us
all.
Already we're building new towers, new twins; A tower of prayer
for all of our friends,
A tower that never can raise too high, A tower
of prayers for those who have died ...
And, a tower of Wisdom, Mercy, and
Praise To our Lord God's great Presence, in such trying
days.

THERE IS A TIME Back to Top
There is a time for terror, a
time for fear, a time for courage, a time for anger, a time for repentance, a
time for forgiveness, a time to learn from life, and a time for joy. My
prayer is that we find each of these in our lives and realize that only
Father can give us peace. He must be given the yoke of burden and we
must let him; the greatest of all, to carry it.
It is for us to love ...
to love the Father and His Son and then to love one another as we love
ourselves. We must let anger go, and strive for justice. But we
must also remember that we rely on mercy, or justice would have us all at the
last day.

IN GOD WE TRUST Back to Top
They are on our nation's Seals and Currency. But, are those same words Found in our lives, for others to see?
You know, then, as well as I, It goes like this, "In God We Trust." But, it seems that the only time We really say it is when we feel we must.
It is only when Our country is in need That these few words Become, once again, our earnest creed.
You say No! It is not really that way. Then, let's think and examine. We say them so often with tears streaming, When there is death, drought, and famine. But, what of its' use In our everyday life? Can it be only heard when We are full of Anger, Pain and Strife?
Is it at the threat or time of war,
When we find ourselves crippled by Fear For the lives of so many, That we then want God to be near ...
So that He would be Watching and hear us As we say, so desperately, "In God We Trust"?
But for this nation, I do solemnly pray. Father, may we wake up and realize, We need to live those words everyday!

| STAND PROUD AND TALL Back to Top
Tho, the times are looking somewhat blue And we ask ourselves what must we do, Let's remember to be thoughtful of others.
Let's remember to give our thanks That more were not hurt, lost, or in pain. For we are, all of this nation, sisters and brothers.
Let's remember to stand proud and tall. America is united to rebuild, to support Our President, and to seek justice and peace.
Let's do our part, be it large or small. Tho, we cannot all be at the scene of horror And work side by side of those who labor, We can pray and we can act in such a way As to not be ashamed of the deeds done, tomorrow.
Again, I say, "Stand proud and tall, my friend!" For, we can only be brought down by our own Unkind, thoughtless, and, sometimes, cruel deeds.
And, let's us remember that It is HE who will judge us in the end.

All The People Cried, Today Back to Top
Word came among us,
In this wonderful Country, the USA,
That some of our men were killed
In an accident, today.
But, they would not have been
Had not it been for a coward in a cave.
This wonderful Marine's family
Would not have had to bury him in a grave.
When we heard of these men,
We knew not what we could say.
But, all the people of America
Paused and cried, today ...
For the marines, sailors, and all
The service men to go the way
Of the places they need to go,
To keep the people safe in the USA.
Our hearts go out to all the families
Of a missing son, their soldier boy,
‘Cause we miss him too, even though
we never saw his face of joy ...
When running and playing as a child,
Or somber faced as a man on his way
To join up and help fight the enemy,
For our protection in the evils of the day.
Many go and win the wars of America
And come back home, again.
These are the valiant heroes of America,
Down to every single man.
They take the chance to go and die for us.
We need to lean their way;
Give them comfort in all things,
So the people wont have to cry, today.
I know the good Lord took them home.
Their soul is with God, now.
They did their duty, here on earth,
And won the crown of Glory, somehow ...
With the Father watching their every move.
He must have needed them some way.
But for the ardor of love we feel and sadness of our loss,
All the people cried, today.

| ~WAVE ON~ RED, WHITE, AND BLUE Back to Top
There’s a beautiful flag that’s waving,
So special for all of my life;
Many times carried to battle
Over men’s conflicts and strife.
I’ve seen it draped over a casket,
Folded in triangle shape, too.
You understand lives were given.
Wave on red, white, and blue!
When evil men dare to attack us
Or deal out a terrorist blow,
Our flag is a symbol of status;
Flying high, like a torch, up it goes ...
On every government building,
Over every ship in the bay,
Every county court house,
Each little church by the way.
'Tis so good the see the red, white, and blue
Flying high all across our land.
There's an endless stream of songs that we sing;
American, God bless you, hand in hand.
We’ll sing them all together, once again.
We’ll raise our flag the highest it has been.
We’ll stand united, singing songs of you.
Wave on! Wave on! Bright red, white, and blue!

Look in my face and see me As I truly am. See the
aftermath of horror I spread throughout the land.
Look in my face and
realize I affect no two the same. Look in my face. Can you tell
me What is my name?
I destroy, I kill, I cause hunger. I ruin the
lives of all. I thrive on tears and heartaches, Forcing your skin to

I take the young and turn them old. I change the boys to

I am

A thing of beauty is a joy forever
And so shall be the living of your life.
For, I have had the blessing of Your presence
With me when fell the darkest lonely night.
When all the world looked on with somber faces,
Accusing countenance within their gaze,
You reached and touched, with tender demonstration,
The velvet warmth within your heart you gave.
I pray to have this merciful compassion
For others caught up in a night of fear,
Where needs no further ill to add to blackness,
But sunny smiles to nourish and to cheer.
I’ll ask the Lord to help me trace your actions
With velvet, there, within my touch and deeds.
I’ll pass, in gentle ways, the needed comfort
And strengthen this, sincerely, on my knees!

AN OPPORTUNITY TO TURN TRAGEDY INTO TRIUMPH Back to Top
Having previously warned several preachers that God was angry, there was no positive response. Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily ... (Ec. 8:11), none believed.
To whom much has been given, much shall be required. That means you, America. Drugs, violence, families torn apart, financial ruin ... we've been experiencing personal earth ~ quakes for quite some time, while the church slept on.
One lady said she heard someone on TV ask, "What did we do to deserve this?" And as soon as she heard the question, the answer came. Her response was this, "In past tragedies, America was shaken. This time, we got spanked."
If only by the candidates they choose; New York supports such things as abortion in a more unified way. Others shed spiritual blood in less visible ways: attacking whatever they don't understand, thinking it the will of God to separate from everything not like them, not allowing people to serve as God calls them, etc.). To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not (La. 3:36). Blood for blood (Ge. 9:6), the moon turning to blood (Ps. 89:37, Ez. 33:4), if that's what it takes. Every knee shall bow.
Tragedy reminds us of the important things in life, draws us to unity that would otherwise never be, causes us to get on our knees and look up. The center of our earth shook. The land quaked ... this time, in a way that no one could ignore.
Those involved in internet ministry have withstood the gates of hell to go to the highways and byways, and against criticism from without and within. One person suggested that the church just received their wake-up call.
Having asked God how many prophecies had to come to pass, He said, "As many as it takes."
Signing petitions won't make our world better. Neither will hanging flags or lighting candles (even though we continue to do so because we care). Though, if we really want to make a difference, we can start believing that God meant what He said.
Consider who might be on your throne. Is your opinion the ultimate authority? How about your religion? Or, your preacher? Or, maybe a church committee? Even your mate? Your children? Friends?
God wants His throne back. It's really that simple. The Kingdom of God comes not with observation; not from memorizing every verse of scripture or from being the perfect example either.
Created in God's image, He gets lonely, too. More than anything we could possibly offer God, He desires an intimate relationship with us. Do we get our daily walk from a book of dead laws or from a Living God who walks and talks with us? God will come down and dwell with us once He is welcomed.
-=*=- -=*=- -=*=-
While it is never God's will for people to hurt people, anger is of concern in that - as long as we place blame elsewhere, we miss the ultimate truth that 'we did it to ourselves'.
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Ch. 7:14
God wants to love us in ways we never dreamed. But, He can only do so once He has first place.

~PATRIOTISM AND GOD~
When I hear our National Anthem, it still brings tears to my eyes. It wasn't that long ago that I spoke to an elder in regard to the lack of patriotism among our youth. His response was that every generation expresses such concerns. But, something always happens to change it. 9-11 could have been just the thing to bring patriotism to the hearts of this generation. Patriotism is a good thing, to recognize that each of us is part of a bigger community ... a people we cherish, honor, and love ... valuing life, freedom of religion, pursuit of happiness, things that reach the depths of our soul; treasures money, power, and greed can't buy or fabricate. God isn't against any of these. Though, we cannot hide our heads in the sand, letting people think patriotism alone will solve all that ails us as a nation. Flying our country's flag is a representative statement of our values, a visible show of patriotism, emotional support for those we love, an expression of our unity, honoring our dearly departed, etc. But, doing so brings no power to change our future. If we truly believed in God's provision for healing our land, we'd come near flying the Christian flag; to encourage all to give God back His throne within our hearts and lives (which is all He really wants anyway). While we open our heart and door to opportunities to make a difference, there's only one real solution to fixing the world's problems. As long as we allow people to think there is another way, our efforts are like striving against the wind. God gave His terms for doing what is otherwise impossible ... If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Ch. 7:14 Changing the world begins by first changing ourselves. Only then do we have God's promise that He will heal our land, other's land, and the world. The lost aren't to blame. To continue to ignore that, to not face the truth of the condition of the world, to not hold ourselves personally accountable for our part ... times will only get worse. God can't continue to bless America when we don't follow His leading. We don't even have the scriptural right to claim the name 'Christian' except we're first His disciple (Acts 11:26). He doesn't ask us to be perfect or even good enough. In fact, His requirements are really very simple. He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee,
but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Micah 6:8 Whatever flag you're waving, make sure God is given first place. You have been given the power to change your world. It's up to you what you do with it.

OUR COUNTRY Back to Top
Lord, we thank you for our country, great and
grand. Thank Thee, my Lord, for the freedom we have, more than any
land; Our country’s flag waving, through all peace and war, then and
now. We do pray, Lord, you’ll keep our country, for us, safely, somehow
... Our country’s leaders to keep Thy Bible well in hand, Thy word
to understand. Keep Thy Commandments in our schools, our children to truly
love our land, Love our Lord with all their hearts. This, to them, I
know we need to teach, That they will grow up knowing Your word, dear God,
we do so beseech. We pray our country be an example, show there
are many who trust our Lord above, How we take in others through Thee, whose
masters have not this love. Let our country be undivided. May we, Lord,
be as one with Thee, our King. Who's price, far above crowns or jewels or
fame, or even gold would bring? We Praise and thank Thee, oh, my
Lord, that You did bring us here, long ago. For, in some countries, even Thy
precious name, some citizens may not know. I, for one, know, along with many
more, our government hath brought upon us shame. But, Lord, through our
trying effort and prayer, help us to turn back to Thy name. In all
matters of the heart of this, our country, flags proudly waving nigh. Please
touch the heart of hardened ones. Help them to look on high To our
Heavenly Master, who made our country so wonderfully blest. So, may our
country’s flag wave us on, knowing our country is the very best.
Help us to mourn our loss, while on Thy shoulder we lean, today,
From the shameful thing that evil brought our country’s way. And, dear
God, take care of the loved ones who are left behind, who cry. And, Lord,
please help them to know you will avenge them, bye and bye.
Amen

In Remembrance Back to Top
We remember, today, a tragedy of a year ago, our world torn
apart. Loved ones, firemen, policemen, hospital workers gave of their
heart. Planes, in route, were overtaken and abused sorely by evil
men; Flew into the towers, the pentagon, and killed the bravest people who
have ever been.
They took back the plane, in PA, and gave their life that
others might live. I know it was no shock to Jesus. I know He heard
prayers and did forgive The evil there (and the towers) was so awful we had
to send our men, a war to fight; To take the evil people's land to ruin
- kill many there, who hath not seen the light.
The workers are so
great to have done it all, even to the blood they gave That some, who were
wounded, would have the chance, their life to save. Valor and gentry was in
our Country that day. Our Eagle soared on high, Representing our great
country on land, in the city, and on sea He stood by.
They tried to soil
our flag that day. But, it was not ever to be. They stand
by Maybe a rip or even some burned and to ashes turned. But, they are
still waving high. They wave in our hearts, as do the heroes who gave their
all that terrible day. We need always to remember the friends we lost, in
such a sinful way.
Jesus took our loved ones on home. It was their
time or it would not have been. For, He is in control, always, even of the
cowards hiding in a cave's den. A braggart who is evil, up in glory he will
never be. He is not Gods' own. Lord, bring our soldiers, sailors,
marines, and air force men back home.
The workers digging up bodies for
months, trying to identify people's loving kin. Even the smartest and bravest
canine were there, doing their share, again. We look back, now, and see,
anew. All our world seemed to just tear apart. But, let us keep utmost
in our minds that now and forever, Jesus is in our heart.
He will
watch over all who call on Him. He will mend broken hearts and make
anew. He will be with us all throughout eternity, in all the things we need
to do. Just give your life to Jesus, today. He will, so tenderly, take
the greatest care Of your life, now, as did He when our people were taken in
shock, last year.
We had many unseen enemies who came here as friend or
foe. Would we had know, and our Government would have made them
go. Strife, on our Country, would never in this world have ever, ever,
won. But, let us never, in all our life, forget our friends of September
11, two thousand one.

roots. They’ll believe any demon I care to loose!
When the towers
fall, it will knock them flat! They won’t know where their enemy’s at! So
many years its been 'anything goes'. They’ll never guess who is really their
foe!"
So, the living bombs came and the towers fell. But, they were
astounded in the regions of hell! Like a laser of light, as the smoke
descended, God’s Name, in a prayer of unison, ascended!
A million
prayers, as a shaft of light, Besieging God to see our plight! As a
nation, as one, we fell to our knees. Words, once used with caution, came,
now, with ease.
We wouldn’t offend or mix God and law. We silently let
the protocol fall, "Take out religion, the Bible, and prayer. Our youth
need their freedom, experience to share."
The things that we made
available, then, Were shameful to mention and steeped in sin. But, the
seed did not die! When the towers came down, Brave, caring, hearts
heard a beautiful sound!
The old songs of patriots, the beautiful
prayers, The scriptures of duty and love were all there! Sometimes, in a
tragedy, blessing will come. You learn, by reaction, what needs to be
done.
"If My people" - (it says it, so simple and plain); The way to
our Helper, our Savior and King! Lord, take off our blinders. Let us
understand The basic and dominate roots of our
Land!

THE LOVE OF NEIGHBORS By Pearlie Duncan Walker © Back to Top
Something rather surprising came in my mail today, It was from our neighboring countries near and far away, They were Praying for our misfortunes, for our grief, For families caught up in a plight of hate like waters pounding on a
reef.
Oh, for neighbors to love and cherish, on whom we can rely, When grief and death comes streaking from up high into the sky. Let us be good neighbors too, always with a ready hand, As hath all the workers in New York had, to help in our land.
We need to depend on a Savior, who can always conquer all. If we put our trust and faith in Him, on Him we can call. Thank you neighbors all around the world so big and wide. I never knew there were so many, who in trouble would stand by our
side.
Thank all the many nations, names that go unsaid today. My mind is in a daze, just trying to think of a loving way To say the things inside my heart. I know all of the USA are too. So we just say we love you, in all the things you do.
We saw flowers, banners, crowds and many tears. We saw many young and old giving your loving, thoughtful cheers. Bless you all, as our country has been Blest throughout the years, And God protect your country, from having to shed useless tears.

Smothering Sorrow Back to Top
Yea, Lord, we look unto Thee. We have much sorrow today. Some people lost their loved ones In such a horrible way.
It came so sudden, dear Lord. Help us all, in our hearts, to pray Just to go through each night, without Smothering tears to darken the way.
Oh, Lord, we see how quickly Disaster can crowd into our life. Help us through the smothering Tears and all the mounting strife.
Our Country's brothers and Sisters lay all about us, today. Thank you, oh Lord, that You prepared The blissful saving way ...
That we will see them again. Until then, let Thy love surround our heart. Let us ever be mindful of Thy sweet love, Knowing it will never part.
Put a shield around us, oh God. Stop this smothering sorrow that We may be able to go on with our life, Until that great tomorrow ...
When all evil will be over in this Old World of sin, so great to bear, And know Thy loving arms will be about us, That You will always care ...
About your children of this World
Who love you, Lord. Help us to be
Going about our Fathers' business,
Our duties to clearly see.
For, we shed tears, today and again ... I know, on the morrow, as we awake And remember all the smothering sorrow, Wondering if our lives it will take.
Then, we think of the great day up yonder,
Way beyond the clear crystal sea,
And know our loved ones await us
And, one day, with them we will be.

| We'll See You in the Morning
Dear friends, we'll see you in the morning, When the dark clouds fade away. We'll see you in the morning, when God brings us to that new day.
We shall not forget you, nor The offense done unto thee today, And we shall all Pray for God Almighty To have His turn and His say.
We mourn your dead and for your great loss. Our hearts have unshed tears. But, they shall not be wasted on scum Of the earth throughout the years.
For, we will prepare for that Regal coming of our Savior, above,
And watch, closely, that our hearts Forget not how to love.
America is grieving at the heartbreak, For the many who are gone on.
But, fear, evil ones. Their Savior Has come and taken them home.
You could have done nothing Had He not let you, don't you know?
Just as He gave His own life for us, Two thousand years ago.
He could have stopped you. But, there Is a reason that's known to Him only. And, I know, it breaks the heart
Of the many who are left lonely.
But, He will come again, in the morning, In a silver lined Holy cloud. Then, we shall hear you begging,
Evil one ... not softly, but aloud.
He is not deaf, that He can not Hear our earthly plea this day. Nor is He blind that He can not see the
Evil that has come our Country's way.
He will seek recompense, justice For all, in the early dawning. And, our beloved American comrades, We shall see you In the Morning.

The Light of America Back to Top
Like a beautiful jewel on a pedestal, Like a city set high upon a hill, Like a Lighthouse shining out from a mountain; Her very name brings us a thrill!
She’s the hope for all hopeless people, Champion of the world in human rights, A gleam of light for any suppressed nation; A flood light in the black of night!
Shine on, America. God loves you! Hold to all you were created for! Let the hearts of our patriots still carry Your liberty and hope to distant shores!
You’ve passed out food to many starving nations, Sent money, aid, to many foreign lands; A tremendous task for America, For everywhere we turn there’s outstretched hands!
Still, America hates oppression. So, she gives until her own lights must turn low. Send to the world a message true and firm, For the whole wide world needs to know.
If the lights go out in America,
You won’t believe how dark the world would be.
And, the lights that now shine bright and brilliant
Are tended by the likes of you and me!
So, take heart, brother, sister, in America.
Fly our banner high and keep its stripes unfurled.
For, if the lights go out in America, brave heart,
They will go out ... for all the world.

| "True Happiness is Mine," Saith the Lord. Back to Top
True happiness will always be A place of beauty and solitude, With everlasting light And a lot of gratitude.
A place of happiness is a new beginning And placed by God within our heart. It's given with the realization of God's love And blessings, right from the start ...
A place full of hope and Goodness and the golden rule, "Do unto others as you would Have them do unto you."
My being swelled, With so much pride, When I learned how Jesus Came and how He died.
As I say my prayers At the end of each night, I ask my Savior to watch Over our nation and let them heal.
For, true happiness Will come from Jesus And everyone will know Just how it feels.
You can have true happiness If you let the Lord take out the old And restore the new. A brighter tomorrow belongs to all you.

WHEN BEAUTY COMES FROM ASHES Back to Top
We looked in horror at twisted metal, The thick layer of gringy dust; We wondered how we'd manage now, Yet, realized that we must!
In a matter of only moments,
The world had changed forever; Yet, perhaps a new reality, Was a possible endeavor.
Somehow out of the dusty piles, Something special will evolve; We shall be overcomers too As God gives more resolve.
When beauty comes from ashes, It's a gift from God above; For He's the one who heals men's hearts, And fills them full of love.
We need to put our focus, On the Lord of all mankind, To fall in love with Him anew, And leave mistakes behind.
The world can be a better place, When He is honored here; We need to put Him in control, Of all that we hold dear.
He then, will make a masterpiece, Of things that are mundane;
We may not even want the world, To ever be the same!
He'll fill each soul to overflow
With love from His own heart; And cause each child to lean on Him, And not pretend he's smart.
God then, will put priorities, In place, where they should be; And goodness comes to fill each life, Including you and me.
We then will live in His command,
He'll fill the voids of life; He'll guide us through the rocky shores, And take away the strife.
When beauty comes from ashes, A miracle is born; So, wait and see what God will do, We've yet to see the dawn!

| THE DIARY OF LIBERTY Back to Top
I looked out Freedom's window At New York yesterday Saw the Devil at the front door And then began to pray
I begged of a band of Angels For each great tower downed
And a voice said please don't worry They're already on the ground
God Bless America United we will stand
And share the light of Freedom Hand to hand across this land
Let the harmony of Liberty Ring out the World around
They may shatter our glass houses But they'll never bring us down
More hearts were stirred and souls were lost And eternity stole the day When the Hell that loosed in Washington
Swept more loved ones away
Still the helpless knew their faith and hope Would never come undone For above them stood the courage Of the Heroes of 911
God Bless America
United we will stand And share the light of Freedom
Hand to hand across this land Let the harmony of Liberty
Ring out the World around They may shatter our glass houses
But they'll never bring us down
Who would dream another scene In a Pennsylvania town Helped mark the day of Patriots
With flowers on the ground
Now together we must raise the Flag And calm the Eagle's cry For the memory of ground zero
Made us out of you and I
God Bless America
United we will stand And fly the flags of freedom high
Across this mighty land Let the harmony of Liberty
Ring out the World around They may shatter our glass houses But they'll never bring us down

A BRAND NEW YEAR By Pearlie Duncan Walker © Back to Top
It’s a story about a brand New Year, full of happiness and cheer.
2001 was filled with sorrow and grief. Enemies were near.
They were evil, filled with hate, killed our Countrymen with Jealous spite ~ Just as the morning was breaking, just after a peaceful night.
Our country is in mourning from so great a loss by cowards abroad, In a Country filled with hate ~ not knowing our Precious Lord. They believe in suicide. They were reared with people of hate, you see. No Glory or honor for ones like that will ever, in Heaven, be.
They don’t know our dear Lord Jesus. How could they not believe? How could anyone’s nature be just to hurt, torture, and deceive?
It will be a brand new year and we will mourn. But, we’ll be okay.
For, we know that Jesus is coming to receive us up, in that day.
Now, the evil one's country is torn all apart. But, we'll rebuild, I'm sure. For, that's the way a Christian country returns the other cheek, so demure. They are almost totally destroyed. Yet, they do not call upon the name of Jesus. They do not know, as do we, that He is the One who will save us.
He loves them, too. But, they turn a deaf ear to His calling their name. They would rather suffer in the name of Allah and die in their shame. Oh, I know this will be a year of glory for America and all who grieve. We have a Christian leader, now, none that we believe will ever deceive.
