I just I got an e-mail from Cartoon Pizza. I sent them a reel two months ago, even though they weren't hiring. They said my 2d animation shows promise and that timing, weight, etc. can't be over perfected and to keep at it, also that my design work was the strongest part and they asked if it was something I wanted to focus on. There was nothing bad in the letter, so why do I feel so weird about it?

Hey folks. I haven't logged in as much since school finals. Then I graduated. Now I'm at home. My computer's in my room but the one that's on-line isn't so I don't log on a lot anymore. My most recent stuff is my my DevArt journal and at my fan art site. As for PPNS, well, I need to figure out how to transfer my files and free up more webspace. That takes lots of internet time on my part.

What we need is a montage

I spent Thursday night and all Friday on this one loop to add to my reel montage. Animation takes time and I don't have time to fix anything when I've got real school projects to work on. But I don't have classes on Fridays and the video lab is closed. It was the best time to get it done.

I wasn't aware that the show was cancelled, though I'm not surprised, but I am surprised that they won't show reruns. Cartoon Network needs to branch out. It feels like Ed, Edd, and Eddy, KND, and Billy and Many are always on.

I deleted my old reference folder, and I've regretted for a while now. I saved one of Rabbit's Gangrene Gang pictures to the reference folder on my hard drive, so I could learn how to draw them all. Is Snake's tongue black? I don't know, but it is now. That wasn't shown in her the picture. Snakeluver inspired this pic.

Tomorrow's the Sky Show! I think I'm going. I'll have to go to sleep immediately.

I realized something recently. Most of the songs I like are by men. Let's kick it up a notch, ladies.



I puffed another one of my own. It helps if the character's already cutesy, methinks, if you're gonna puff'em up....or down in most cases...
Actually this is half of two pics I'll stick in the Archive. My very first thought was to make a boy version of the girl, and then I thought, he should be another animal, so he's a cowboy, one of those black and white spotted cows I guess. It's a pun!
It turns out that my archive account doesn't want me to use the file manager, so here's the two. Just the two of us, you and I. The old girl is cuter, probably since I extended her hat/helmet thing from her original head shape like I did with the boy one.
I hated how she turned out so much I went back and edited the illustrator file. Maybe I'll put it up for coloring, since they got no color, it's like anything goes. I have a Photoshop file that's only 625KB.

For anyone who's seen my Deviant Art post of the OddParents characters, and is wonder what's up, it's just that I wanted to draw the main characters in another cartoony style, and if I'd known what Francis looked like earlier, I would've stopped by now. I've been looking for on-line references, but some characters are hard to find. I didn't want to go there, but I ended up setting my VCR for the show for episodes that contain characters I want to do, mainly people that show up at least 3 times. I'm putting Jorgen Von Strangle and the Crimson Chin on hold until I learn more about anatomy. I downloaded some comic book superhero pictures to study. Lots of Cyclops.

I attempted to do a pic of Waterdroplet based on what I saw at the oekaki board though I'm not sure it's accurate.

Holy Moses! How could I have forgotten? In Yunomi's log @ Girls Labo there's a Buttercup cosplaying as Lei-Lei/Hsien-ko. It made my heart smile.

I've seen the second image before, but I just had to put it next to mine. It's the second time I've seen the thumbnail and mistaken it for my picture. I posted that about a couple years ago at Deviant Art. Columbine-Icetree posted tho other one about a year afterwards at Deviant Art. Have any idea how odd it is to mistake someone else's drawing for your own? Well, you can see how I made the mistake. Also, the same picture (mine) was stolen by someone at DA. I reported the violation. I hope they kicked that biznatch off. She claimed 6 of my pictures. All thieves shall burn eternally! If you have nothing better to do with your life than to go on-line and edit and claim other people's work as your own, then...what's wrong with people? Same picture, someone else took it months ago and changed the colors. They got caught, someone let me know. 'Sigh'. It's not even that great a picture, but that's not the point. LEAVE MY CRAP ALONE
LOOK, DON'T TOUCH, you friggin' BASTARDS! I hope you all die.
