Sittin' on a Red Bench
Now Playing: House of Payne
Topic: merchandise

When I got Bundles I also got Patch TreasureChest, a full sized Lalaloopsy. He's documented as the "first boy ever" on this here chart and I will admit he was the first Lalaloopsy that I thought was interesting.  I saw some other boys later online and only one other in stores but they don't do it for me like Patch does. Looking at the poster, it seems that the first 8 dolls were the least interesting and then as new ones emerged they got a little more creative. I'm thinking of drawing Powerpuff versions of the ones I have....and maybe some that I don't.

All these 3 part character names make me think of MST3K.

The Next Best Thing
Now Playing: American Dad
Topic: merchandise

I walked past this doll yesterday thinking "OMG, so cute with his little sailor hat".

Up until now I didn't think much of Lalaloopsy dolls because they all seemed so similar. I did however like the boy with the eyepatch (a little disappointed that he had an actual eye underneath) and of course this little guy. Upon closer inspection of the catalog I noticed a couple dolls that were a little more unique and I appreciate the line a little more. I looked for the cheapest place to find this toy. I saw him at Toys R Us, but they generally charge more than anywhere else. Matey Anchors is his name. I guess I like him so much because he's cute, he looks distinguishable/different from the others, I just came from a beach vacation (I never go to the beach), and he kind of reminded me of a Powerpuff Girl (in proportions), but not as much as THIS doll which is giving off hardcore Blossom vibes.

The boy is cuter though. There is another doll dressed as a polar bear that is also incredibly adorable. I just may have to have her.

Got the PPG wallet
Topic: merchandise

Well, I bought it!

Only problem is, I had a dream that my purse was stolen and I couldn't dial the bank to freeze my card before the thief could get a chance to use it because the numbers on the phone were all messed up, so now I'm afraid to convert to a wallet that HAS to be in my purse instead of one that can fit in my pocket. I hope I'll be over this fear soon, but then 2 months I had the dream about my computer breaking down it broke down for real and I had to buy a new one just last week.

PPG Hinge Wallet in Stores
Topic: merchandise

Just a few days ago I saw a PPG wallet in Spencers. There was only one and they had a sale on wallets, but I didn't get it. Now I'm wondering if I should have. I didn't want to be buying PPG merch I'm not gonna use especially since my computer spontaneously broke down and I had to buy a new one. Half a paycheck gone, and I don't get paid on time as it is. If it's still on sale next time I go to the mall I may get. It wouldn't kill me to stop carried money in a keychain for a change. Plus my birthday's coming up. Sorry, no image. Couldn't find on online.

Dexter's Lab Bobbleheads
Now Playing: 106 & Park

Guess what came in the mail today.

The box is nicely decorated with pics of Dexter and Mandark on the sides and top, headshots on the front and another double headshot of Dexter and Dee Dee on the bottom.

I've uploaded a couple photos to amazon, the one in the box and another one of them unboxed from the back. And then there's this one, last but not beast.

PPG Fosters Comic Book Collection
Now Playing: Body Language
Topic: merchandise

This is the back cover of the CN 2 in 1 comic collection, graphic novel, whatever you want to call it. The first half is Fosters and the 2nd half is PPG. It's bright and colorful and drawn closely resembling the shows. I haven't read it all yet. It came in the mail pretty quickly and it was only 2 bucks on Amazon brand new. I actually paid more for the shipping. The receipt was signed "Thank You" in various colored pencils.

Long Time Oekaki
Topic: oekaki

I felt compelled to use the okekaki board today. If I don't draw within 60 days it deactivates, or that least, that's what the rule was when I got it. Even though I don't use it, I don't want to lose it.
This looks more like the old Blossom, smaller heard bigger body. Basically, I'm way out of practice.

Now in Circulation
Now Playing: 50 cent Claw games
Topic: merchandise

I saw Bubbles at the Walmart claw machine, which means if i want her I have to win her. I do okay at the machine on average, I've won more than 50 plush toys. The thing about those is, some items are easy to grab, most aren't, and more than likely you can't get the one you want.

I tried to get her today and the machine wouldn't take my money. So I went out the other set of doors and saw another one in that machine. I managed to pick her up twice and she dropped. I get paranoid when I think people are around watching my losing streak, and it makes noise when you use it, so I left empty handed.

So I checked Toys R Us and they had both Bubbles and Buttercup and they both look impossible to get. I place I didn't think to look was K-mart.

I was so close to having that Bubbles plush, I even had it in my grasp twice. I think these dolls sell online but they're pricey and there's a shipping fee. Granted, they're not the best quality but PPGs are a rare find this day in age.
