The Fairly Odd Parents
Now Playing: Cool in You

For anyone who's seen my Deviant Art post of the OddParents characters, and is wonder what's up, it's just that I wanted to draw the main characters in another cartoony style, and if I'd known what Francis looked like earlier, I would've stopped by now. I've been looking for on-line references, but some characters are hard to find. I didn't want to go there, but I ended up setting my VCR for the show for episodes that contain characters I want to do, mainly people that show up at least 3 times. I'm putting Jorgen Von Strangle and the Crimson Chin on hold until I learn more about anatomy. I downloaded some comic book superhero pictures to study. Lots of Cyclops.

I attempted to do a pic of Waterdroplet based on what I saw at the oekaki board though I'm not sure it's accurate.

Holy Moses! How could I have forgotten? In Yunomi's log @ Girls Labo there's a Buttercup cosplaying as Lei-Lei/Hsien-ko. It made my heart smile.

COM-CON
Mood:  irritated

I've seen the second image before, but I just had to put it next to mine. It's the second time I've seen the thumbnail and mistaken it for my picture. I posted that about a couple years ago at Deviant Art. Columbine-Icetree posted tho other one about a year afterwards at Deviant Art. Have any idea how odd it is to mistake someone else's drawing for your own? Well, you can see how I made the mistake. Also, the same picture (mine) was stolen by someone at DA. I reported the violation. I hope they kicked that biznatch off. She claimed 6 of my pictures. All thieves shall burn eternally! If you have nothing better to do with your life than to go on-line and edit and claim other people's work as your own, then...what's wrong with people? Same picture, someone else took it months ago and changed the colors. They got caught, someone let me know. 'Sigh'. It's not even that great a picture, but that's not the point. LEAVE MY CRAP ALONE
LOOK, DON'T TOUCH, you friggin' BASTARDS! I hope you all die.

In other news, TraditionalDanimatio did a nice, official looking Dexter's Lab illustration. For those interested, I give you the link.

another dumb@$$ quizz
Cosmo
Hahaha, you are Cosmo. Your one of Timmy's fairy
god parents, but you pretty much just screw
everything up all the time. Every bad
situation that happens to you and your friends
is more than likely your fault but your too
inept to realize it. Everyone likes having you
around though because your stupidity it quite
funny most of the time.

Which Fairly Odd Parents Character are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

Now Playing: Just Good Friends -Michael Jackson/Stevie Wonder

This type of thing keeps me from updating as much as I would in a perfect, fantasy world, a mystical, magical place full of fun and, hmm....
I like the class, but work is work.

By Jove, I've found it!
I was going through the blog at Sinister Creature and found this image. It's of those little PPG toys with stuff inside their heads. -Click-
That'd make a funny comic, but what would the plot be?

Leg's asleep
Now Playing: Father Figure
There's something unsettling about that song to me, maybe because it makes me think about priests molesting young boys. I need to find the lyrics.

I drew this in my sketchbook my mom got for me. The scan looks horrible, but I felt like I was lacking with the SJ images. I have an idea for a Dexter image, with DD, Dex, and Beau. Yep, no news. Just a little Jack pic. And I set my VCR for Avatar tomorrow evening, the highlight of my week.

AVATAR

When I first saw the trailer a while back on Nick, I said that's not anime then I said, maybe it is, and now I'm back to the not. I'll tell ya why. Check out this page. I'd forgotten about that show for a while. It looks like eye-candy and pretty interesting. I've missed the premiere about three times. I'll set my VCR for the next go round. Here's Nick's site.

trades
I'm doing a trade with Mallaard, whom I met at deviant art (who's site you can find on the Collaboration page). Here are my Chicky lines. Draw in the morning. Color at night. Then tomorrow, I'm going home for the weekend. Hooray!

It'd be interesting to do a PPG trade.

What the heck is curry?
Now Playing: Where it's at
Similar to a Buttercup image I drew in Photoshop, yes?

I found this site this morning. I just think that character is soooo adorably cute for some strange reason, in spite of all the Japanese-styled characters there are. This person's not Japanese, but Thai.WILD Curry
I know curry is some type of food but I've never seen it before. Hook me up with some fried chicken and greens.

Wings to Fly
Not much is up except that my right hand is cold, and I have to pee.
I posted a 600K comic thing about winged folk. I had planned to do something similar in manga style some months ago with a girl sewing a guy's jacket and fitting him, while he waited on her bed in his wife beater. Actually, the general idea was years in the making, for I'd wondered how an individual with wings would get clothes on over their wings unless the back was out. A couple years ago I read that angel wings were symbolic, so I guess that doesn't that if they fly or appear in the air, they wouldn't have to flap, because they're just for show, right? And so the clothing probably wouldn't matter either. But I mean, I look at winged characters on, cartoons for example, that should constantly be flapping in order to stay up, but they just sorta hover. Of course that's more animation work. I also wondered, wings would have to be pretty strong ot pick up one's own body weight AND why are they on the back instead of in the place of the arms? Convenience, that's why. It doesn't have to make sense apparently. Anyways, so back in '98 or '99 I figured that in order for someone with wings to get clothes on, there would have to be slits up the back that closed up, like you cut down the back of a shirt twice and sew in some zippers. Well, if there really is a known system as to how any winged person can get shirts on, then nobody told me, or maybe you're not supposed to think about it. It's a similar thing to figuring anyone with a tail or an anthro animal has a hole in the back of their skirts/pants. There's a ton of people who put wings on their characters. I wonder if they ever think about that.

Well, on a more PPG related note, I drew a pic of Blossom in MSPaint for V-day, but let it sit there for a few days. Now that V-day's over, I guess I can make it a "small image" or just something for the blog. A blog would be good for showing tutorials.
