Life
I am still here among you, my soul is still around.
Even if you can't see me, I'm here to be found.
I am the sunlight shining upon my PawPaw's face;
I am the chair at dinner, I'll always have a place
I am the birds that sing in the morning dew,
And I am always with each one of you.
I lived and I'm still living, I will never die,
So when you think about me, don't hang your head to cry.
For I was given more love, than most kids ever know;
And I knew God and all his Angel's the Bible taught me so.
I am not alone here, don't ever worry about me.
I have the brightest stars you would ever hope to see.
I am the purple sunset, the golden hues of days end.
I am the rain upon your face, I flutter in the wind.
I see you every step you take, I'm always there with you;
I'm standing right beside you in everything you do.
I am my mother's laughter, I am the kids at play.
I am the sound of music, I am on the pillow where you lay.
I am the furry kitten, curled up upon your feet;
I am the rocking motion when you set there in your seat.
I am the dawn, the sunset, I am the blooming rose.
I am still living of that I know you know.
I'm with you in your kindness, the water on the lake.
I'm here PawPaw and mommy and all my other kin,
Don't ever think that I won't rise up and walk again.
I'm simply up here waiting till time for you is no more;
Then I will be the one that greets you at the door.
I lived and I was loved more than most kids ever
know;
So go on and live your life, I'm here, I'll never go.
I'll be beside you always in everything you do, and
when the time is right, I'll be here waiting for you.
