This broken vessel symbolizes our broken lives. Perhaps
you may be broken, and you can’t put yourself back together. If you seek the
Lord with your whole heart and ask him to put you back together again, He will.
That’s why he came. You see, He is the master builder. If you ask him, he will
reach down from His Holy Heaven with his nail scarred hands and make you anew.
When he does this, then you will become a Glorified Vessel.
Little did
I know at the time I created this painting that God wanted it to be used for
the 6th web page on my web site. I was asked to create this painting for a lady
in Greensboro, N.C. for a book cover. The book was used for their Deacon
Ministry Retreat. I always keep copies of my work on file, but I didn’t keep a
copy of the Broken Vessel. It was a miracle that the original picture ended
back in my hands. I knew at that moment God wanted me to use it on my web site.
However, I didn’t know it would be the final one until God spoke to me and
said, “You must do one more web page on your site.” After God spoke to me, I
was startled. God then spoke to me for a second time saying, “This will be the
6th web page.” He brought to my mind the 6 day of creation entering the 7th day
which is the day of rest. After God finished speaking with me, I bowed my head
and wept.
All 6 web pages on this web site are original creations
of mine and were inspired by God. I am just a vessel He used. Jesus is coming
soon and you don’t want to be left behind.
