BEGINNERS GOLF SCHOOL YOGA & HYPNOSIS TECHNIQUES FOR GOLF Why would you want to learn another discipline when you already feel overwhelmed with the time spent learning to play the game of golf. Perhaps the most important reason would be to reduce the tension you put on yourself as you try to perfect the game. Granted, golf is a mental and physical game and you need to learn all the techniques, postures, and rules. However, I'm now going to suggest that you override the short term memory - let go, learn to breathe and be free of the outcome! As Earl Woods wrote in A Father's Guide to Raising a Winner in Golf and Life, "If you don't clutter your conscious mind with endless pointers and tips, you make it easier for you subconscious instinct to guide you." What would be another substantial reason to learn Yoga? Well, how often are you sore or actually out of commission following a game of golf? What if I could teach you a few specific postures to work into a routine that would eliminate soreness and pain? We will teach you the techniques to go into your subconscious and set up the program. Using the breathing taught in both yoga and hypnosis. We will connect the body & mind. Relearn the basic grip, setup & alignment in a way that changes your focus from results to the process. As you create a consistent process for each scenario you train your subconscious. Our goals: 1) Promote good health, 2) Use golf as a true exercise, 3) balance the two sides of the body, 4) relaxation and focus, 5) create a relaxed and positive experience Costs: $100 per student; Six weeks, one class per week, each class is 2 hours. One hour of class room work and one hour of actual hands on practice. Private sessions: $60 per hour. Live in the moment in complete balance and harmony. |
