Not related to the 243AI but a very fine rifle. I have shot several groups under 1/4" 5 shots @ 100 yards with this rifle. If you are looking for a very good gunsmith this rifle was built for me by:

Duane Spooner
Duane's Gun Rapair
Tappen, ND
1-(701)327-8135

For additional information about Duane and his rifles see "VHA Custom Gun No.12" by Steve Timm in issues #29, January 1999 of

  • THE VARMINT HUNTER Magazine.

Both groups where shot at 100 yards. The first group was shot with Starke 50gr. RPVB's, shots 1-4 were fired and then I got excited and jerked the heck out of shot 5. I decided to shoot a 6th shot just to see if I could get 5 in the same hole. I feel that this shows what this rifle bullet combination can do and that I need to work on shooting under pressure. The second 5 shot group was shot with the cheap bulk Speer 50gr. TNT's. Not as good as the Starke bullets what do you expect for 1/2 the price. If you would like some of these fine Starke RPVB's call Clint Starke at:
    Starke Bullet Company

Here is my Pseudo Scout rifle built on a Mauser M98 action. It was supposed to be a "Cheap" evaluation of the Scout Rifle concept. It was not cheap and I have not really had a chance to evaluate it yet either!
