Goldenjaguar looked into Rumpleteazer's eyes and smiled, Rumpleteazer smiled back but then turned her head a little for she was very confused and didn't know what to say, she wanted to tell Jag what she knew about him, yet she didn't know how to say it and if it would be right to talk about it now.
Jag saw the confusion in Teazer's eyes and put a paw on her shoulder and nodded, "If there is anything you would like to say, you can tell me at anytime." He said, "I want you to know that you can trust me." He added. Teazer bit her lip a bit slightly only to have that stopped by Jag's paw, "Don't bite your lip, you may hurt it, and I wouldn't want you to get hurt." He said with a smile. Teazer looked at Jag, "I want you to be able to trust me to, but I don't know how to say the things I want to say." She said. Jag nodded, "When ever your ready I'll listen." He said. Teazer smiled and hugged Jag, "Thank you." She said and began to calm down.
Just as Teazer was calm a loud terrifying growl filled the junkyard. Teazer jumped behind Jag, Mungojerrie and Munkustrap turned their heads in the direction the growl came from, Demeter jumped behind Munku, then they all turned their eyes to Jag who was laughing, "She always knows when to make an entrance, and what methods would be the most effective." He said as a large female white tiger entered the junkyard and walked towards Jag, "I would like to introduce you all to my little sister, White Tigress." He said
Mungo looked at Jag "Little?!" he stated.
Jag smirked "Well she's younger then I am anyway." He said. Teazer looked at Jag and then at White Tigress. "Its nice to meet you White Tigress, welcome to the Jellicle Junkyard." She said. Mungojerrie looked at White Tigress and then at Jag. Jag smiled, "I'll explain how this is possible later." He said. Tigress slowly crouched down, only Jag saw her doing this and realized what she was thinking about doing, she was getting ready to pounce someone, and he knew who it would be.
Tigress gave Jag a sly grin and gently pounced him. Tigress looked down at Jag and grinned triumphantly as she helped her brother up. Teazer laughed, "What a way to say hello." She stated. Tigress looked at Teazer "It is, isn't it." She said and looked at Jag, "Have you told them about our problem brother?" she asked. Jag shook his head, "Not yet, I was going to wait for a bit before I said something about that." He said.
Mungo looked at Jag, "Problem?" he asked, "Anything we can help you with?" Jag looked at Mungo, "Depends on how well good you are at finding hidden objects." He replied.
"That depends on what we are looking for." Mungo said, "and where we are looking for it." He added. Munkustrap and Demeter watched quietly. Teazer put a paw on Jag's shoulder and smiled, "We will help you in anyway we can." She told him. Mungo sat next to Jag, "So what exactly are we looking for?" he asked. Jag turned his head towards Mungo, "Three mystical scrolls my father created and hid before he was killed." Jag explained. Munkustrap looked at Jag and frowned, "killed?" he asked. Jag nodded and looked down. Teazer hugged Jag, "I'm sorry to hear that, do you know who killed him?" she asked looking at Tigress after Jag didn't reply. Tigress shook her head, "Not yet, but we are working on that." She said. Teazer nodded and looked at Jag, "So when do we begin looking?" she asked, "Those scrolls were important enough for your father to hide, then he must have known someone was after him or the scrolls." She said. Munku nodded, "She right, I mean if your father did so much to make sure those scrolls were so well hidden that not even his own son would be able to find them, then there must be more to them." He said.
Jag smiled, "Thank you, we can go as soon as we are ready." He said. But before anyone could reply the sound of class shattering filled the junkyard. Demeter jumped behind Munkustrap, and shrieked "Macavity!" Macavity stood on top of a pile of junk and looked at Jag, "A new tom, well its time for me to introduce myself to you, I am Macavity." He said, "Who might you be?" he asked
"I am Goldenjaguar." Jag said as he looked at Demeter, Mac turned to Demeter as well, "Why are you hanging around these weak toms, when you could be with me?" he asked. Demeter hissed, "Because I don't hang around scum like you." Macavity growled, "We shall see about that, get her." He commanded as group of henchcats enter the junkyard and surround the Jellicles, "And capture Goldenjaguar, he looks tough, we will see just how tough he really is." He added. Jag growled and got ready for a fight, only to have his sister jump in front of him, and kills many of the toms who get near her or Jag, a few lucky cats manage to jump at her, but they only get swatted to the ground and bit in the back of the neck. Mac looked at Tigress, "Well, well, it looks like Jag will get company, seize her as well." He growls and sends out six of his strongest henchcats, they get close enough to be killed by Tigress's tiger sized claws and teeth. Mac watches his best cats get disposed of as if they were kittens, and decides to get a better looked at Tigress and finally realized just what he was trying to do and jumped backwards, "No wonder you were able to defeat my best cats, your not a normal household queen, you're a tiger," he growled, "He who runs away lives to fight another day." He said and ran out of the junkyard, followed by his remaining henchcats who didn't get out with out a scratch, most of them were limping out.
Munkustrap watched Macavity retreat then looks at Goldenjaguar, "Well now that that's taken care of lead the way to your house, we can begin searching for that room right away." He said. Teazer smiled and put an arm around Jag's waist, "Lead the way Jaggy." She said. Goldenjaguar looked at Munku, and then at Teazer and smiled as he put his arm around her, "Alright," he said and started to walk with Teazer towards his place. Mungojerrie followed behind and walked beside Tigress, together the two kept an eye for Macavity or one of his henchcats.
As they continued Jag smiled as they approached a large gold mansion. Jag turned and looked at the others, "This is it, home sweet home." He said
Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer whistled in amazement and looked at each other. Rumpleteazer leaned over to her friend and partner in crime, "Alright I know this place looks tempting, but remember, Jag's a friend and we don't steal from friends." She stated.
Mungojerrie nodded, "Agreed," he said and looked at Jag, "Where to?" he asked
"Up to my fathers room." Jag said and as he opened the door, the sound of a tight cord could be heard breaking, Jag instantly ducked and pulled Demeter and Rumpleteazer down with him, unfortunately Munkustrap and Mungojerrie weren't as quick.
*Splat!* two pies flew out the door and hit Mungojerrie and Munkustrap square in the face, and slowly slide down from their face.
Jag looked at the two toms and held back laughter as best he could, "Looks like I've got other guests." He said
Rumpleteazer looked up at the two and began to laugh hysterically.
Demeter looked at Munkustrap and burst into a fit of giggles and laughter, "You should see the look on your faces." She said.
Munkustrap and Mungojerrie slowly wiped the pie from their eyes, their faces said it all. Their expressions were that of annoyance, humiliation, and humor.
Munkustrap looked at Mungojerrie, and Mungo at Munku, then the two began to laugh as well
Munku then looked at Jag, "Oh, and who might have done this?" he asked
With Demeter's help he began to remove as much of the pie as he could
Jag smirked, "I'm sure we'll find out soon enough, but now we must be careful, there could be more traps and pranks like this one." He added
Mungo raised a brow at Jag, "That was a prank?" He asked as He continued to wipe pie from his face.
Rumpleteazer chuckles, "Thats what the tom said Mungo, who would have thought of such a prank is beyond me, but I will have to commend them." She said as She licked some of the remaining pie from his face, "This is excellent pie." She stated.
Jag smirks, "Oh great, thats all they needed to hear." He said with a small laugh as his Tigress finally made her way to Jag's side and watched the queens help the two toms clean up.
Tigress looked at Jag with a raised brow, but soon looks at the pie pans on the ground and shakes her head.
Jag walks into the house followed by Teazer and Tigress. Once Munkustrap and Mungojerrie got most of the pie out of their fur they entered the house.
"Welcome to our home." Goldenjaguar said as He held the door open.
Rumpleteazer was the first to walk in and as She looked around, She was star struck, it was all gold, everything was the color gold, and not in a tacky way it was all nicely decorated. "Nice place Jag" She stated, it was as shame She couldn't find the heart to steal from this place.
Mungojerrie was next to step in and had a similar reaction as Rumpleteazer, "Wow, this is a wonderful house." He stated, "The one who owns this must have a great job." He added.
Jag smiled, "Kind of, but this is a part of something my father did, He put an enchantment on the house, that would always make it look nice." He explained, "That is why its gold, because that is one of the only metals that is pure, it will not rust or fade." He added.
Rumple smiled at Jag, "Sounds something like the heart with in your chest." She stated, "From what I've seen your one of the purest toms I know," She said, "In a world full of death and suffering, its nice to know there is atleast one kind soul in the world." She added.
Jag smiled and blushed lightly, "I'm not that great, I just do what I must do." He said as the moved into the house
Munku was next to enter followed by White Tigress. He too was overwhelmed by the appearance of the gold house, but He had heard everything, "Well Jag, which way to your fathers room?" He asked
Tigress wondered off to one of the rooms that connected to the hallway they were in with Demeter.
Jag looks at Munku and nodded, "Its upstairs." He said and pointed to a door at the end of the hall way
Munku nodded and lead the way this time, "Alright, lets hope there aren't any more surprises," He said as Jag slowly opened the door
Jag smirked, "Oh if I know them, there will be," He stated and silently clipped a small string with his claw and before anything happened He caught the string with his telekinesis, "Such as this." He said.
Rumple looked at Jag and smiled, "Nice catch." She said and proceeded up the stairs and cautiously opened the door at the top
Jag was about to tell her to wait, but it was too late as the door was opened a small stream of water quickly hit RumpleTeazer and Goldenjaguar.
Mungo and Munku stood at the bottom of the stairs waiting for the signal that everything was clear when they saw the water hit, they looked at each other and laughed.
Jag looked at them and smirked, "Think thats funny do you?" He asked and let the string go, "Don't forget they are my niece and nephew, I know their tricks," He stated as a bucket of water dumped onto Munku and Mungo
Something was different about this water, when it covered Munku and Mungo, their fur changed colors, they both now had pink fur, they looked at each other and were about to laugh until they both noticed what had happened to themselves.
Jag smirked, "This second blast was set up to wash that away, but since Teazer already triggered the second trap, guess you two get to wear that color for a while, it won't come off by just normal water, and I wouldn't try to lick it off, your tongue will turn pink." He warned and walked up the stairs, and stood next to Teazer who was giggling at Mungojerrie and Munkustraps new look
"Hate to say it, but pinks not your colors." Teazer stated which gave cause for dirty looks from both Mungo and Munku.
"Ha ha very funny, so how do we get this stuff off Jag?" Munku asked
Jag smirked, "Well either we find my nephew, or it must wear off." He explained, "They are probably in one of the hidden passageways in this house." He added, "I'm guessing they can probably see and hear us." He said.
Rumpleteazer stopped giggling and looked around at the hallway they were now in, there were several large gold doors.
Jag looked at Teazer then at the hallway, "The first door is my fathers room." He said with a soft sigh as He walked towards the door and opened it.
Jag looked around, "No pranks here, they wouldn't dare do anything to this room." He said
Mungo nodded, "Good to know they have some manners and respect." He stated as He walked in.
"Actually they have plenty of manners and respect, though they are only kittens, these games are all in the name of fun." Jag said.
"Kittens came up with all those pranks and traps?" Munku asked
Jag nodded "Yup."
Mungo smiled slightly, "I'm impressed, I will have to remember to meet these two when I'm not pink." He said.
In the room there was a large bookshelf full of books of all sizes, on two walls were pictures, one picture was a large family portrait, and the other picture was a picture of a silver tom with a young and small gold tom.
"Is that your father and you Jag?" Munku asked
Jag nodded, "Yes, that was about 6 years ago." He said
Rumpleteazer looked around the room and saw a small silver book on a desk, She walked over to it, "This is the first non gold item I've seen." She stated.
Jag turned to Teazer, "Thats my fathers journal." He said, "He wrote in it everyday, till his last day." He said
"Really? Then maybe there is a clue or something in it as to where we can find your secret room." She said and began to read it, "Here's something." She said
Jag moved quickly to Teazer's side and read what She found, "My son, if you are reading this, then you are ready for your destiny, To find the door that I have hidden you must first have a pure heart, then clear and focus your mind." The passage read, "You must concentrate with both mind and body, for the mind and body are one," He read, "Therefore they must act as one, once you have achieved this, you must find the door with your heart and mind's eye." He continued, "The door will only appear to those whose hearts are filled with love and kindness, the door will only open to those whose minds are clear of all negative thought, and only those whose minds and bodies are one, may enter this room."
Munku and Mungo did as the book said, but no matter how hard they tried, they could not find the entrance.
Teazer read the passage in the old journal and looked around, trying to do what the book said, though She wasn't sure She could. She didn't see anything, till Jag put his paw on her shoulder. As She closed her eyes, She suddenly felt a strange sensation take over her heart began to pound, She slowly looked around the room, and then She saw it, a white outline on one of the walls.
Jag looked around the room, his heart and body pure and focused just as the book had instructed, and He then saw the same white outline, slowly He and Teazer walked towards it, but then He looked to his left and saw a second outline, "Hmm, I wonder." He said silently, "Teazer look to your left." He added, "Tell me what you see please."
Teazer looked to her left as Jag instructed, "I don't see anything." He said, "Why?"
"Just a hunch, but move with me." He said and walked to the other outline He saw.
"Jag we're going the wrong way." Teazer said
"No we're not." Jag said with a smile and placed his paw against the wall, which happened to be the wall where the picture of him and his father was located, slowly a door slide open, "See." He said with a small smile
Teazer smirked and poked Jag in the side, "I see, don't rub it in." She said with a giggle and kissed his cheek lightly, "Well lets go." She said and walked into the room, it was dark and damp, the walls were stone and gray, not gold like the rest of the house.
Jag followed Teazer in, but before Munku and Mungo could join them, the door closed. "Looks like we were meant to do this alone guys, wait for us." He said
"Alright, good luck you too." Came Munku's voice.
"Don't let anything happen to her Jag or I'll find a way in there." Mungo's voice rang out.
Jag and Teazer moved through the passageway.
Jag suddenly put a paw around Teazer and pulled her back, "Wait." He said, and a large silver axe swung down and cut into the ground and then got stuck into the wall,
"Thank you Jag." Teazer said, "That would have cut me in half, suddenly I'm scared, what else is in here." She stated
"Don't worry Teazer I promise with all my heart and soul I won't let anything happen to you." Jag said, and suddenly a gold arrow appeared on the wall, and pointed down the hall where a stone wall lifted up.
Jag and Teazer walked into the room and looked around, suddenly the stone wall fell and closed again.
The room they were in was a large circular room one the far side away from the door were three boxes each with a different symbol, each box was resting against the wall.
The first box was to Jag's right, it contained a symbol that looked like the earth, the second box had a symbol of a dove on it, and the last box had a symbol of a heart.
As Jag and Teazer moved into the center of the room, the walls began to disappear and the floor turned gold.
"Welcome my son." a voice filled the room, and a image of a tall silver tom appeared before them, "Since you have found your way here, it must mean I have passed away." The voice said
Jag watched and tears began to build in his eyes, "Fa....Father?" He asked
"Yes, Goldenjaguar, it is I." the image said, "Though this is just a holographic image, it is I." He said, "I am Silver-eye."
Teazer watched and listened, figuring this wasn't her place to speak.
"I am very proud of you my son, not only have you learned how to make friends, but you have discovered the secret of a friendship and love." Silver-eye said, "In these three boxes contains my finest and final spells. I was unable to teach you them, but I was able to lock the knowledge of them inside scrolls and finally inside the boxes." He explained, "Take care of this knowledge and use it for good not evil." He added, "I know there are many questions you would like to have answered but all things will be revealed in time, now Goldenjaguar, step forward my son, and receive the knowledge of the earth." He said
Jag slowly and silently stepped forward, nervous and scared.
Suddenly the box with the symbol of the earth on it, opened up and a scroll slowly floated out and once exposed to the air, it crumbled to dust, as soon as the dust had been blown away, a green beam of energy was released from the box and surrounded Jag engulfed him with its glow.
"Now the knowledge of the soul." Silver-eye said
The box with the symbol of a dove then opened up and its white beam surrounded and engulfed Jag along with the energy from the green box.
"And finally, the power that is already inside your heart must be unlocked, and the knowledge of love and the heart shall be yours." Silver-eye said and the last box opened up and its gold beam surrounded Goldenjaguar and joined the other two, and slowly began to enter Jag's body.
Jag's body began to stress as the energy entered though it gradually gained a tolerance for the intense infusion, his body slowly grew and He filled out to hold the new increase in energy, then the beams where gone and Jag fell to his knees.
Teazer was at his side in the same instant Jag fell.
Silver-eye smiled, "Ah, you must be the one that helped open up Jag's heart." He said, "I thank you, and ask that you help him grow in both mind and body, and to gain the experience of what friendship and love is about." He added, "Over time his powers will increase as He gains a better understanding of what love is, and with each new experience and battle He will also gain new knowledge," Silver-eye explained, "He is a quick learner and will need guidance in how to harness and use his powers for good and preserving the order of light, it is his destiny and his fate." He finished, "Before I go, I will leave you with one answered question...the one who killed me is one whom you know all to well, someone from the past that you thought had died." He said and slowly began to fade, "Look for the Claw, and you will find the answers." With that final sentence Silver-eye's image vanished, and they suddenly appeared in Silver-eyes room, behind Munku and Mungo
Mungo turned around and looked at Jag, "We....We heard everything." He said, "I'm sorry Jag for what happened to your father, and you have my word we will help you find this Claw fella." He said
Jag smiled, "Thanks, though vengeance isn't the way." He said, tears still streaming from his eyes, "Right now I just need to be among friends."
Teazer smiled and hugged Jag, "You are, you are." She said and kissed him lightly.
Munku smiled as well, "What ever happened in there Jag certainly changed your look, your bodies filled out a bit more." He commented
Jag smiled and returned Teazer's hug and kiss, "Thanks Munku, I have one final question."
Munku nods, "What is it?"
"Is it possible for me to become a Jellicle Cat?" Jag asked
Munku smiled, "Actually I think you already are," He said, "If not with your heart, but by what I remember being told as a kitten by our leader."
Mungo looked at Munku then at Jag, "Oh yeah thats right, Old Deutornomy told us stories of a silver tom that matched your fathers description"
Teazer smiled, "Actually guys I think those were more then stories, and I think Old D was actually talking about Silver-eye and Goldenjaguar in his stories." She said, "But anyway lets worry about that later, Jag show us around this place I wanna see more of it."
"Oh thats right I almost forgot, we need to find your nephew." Mungo said, "We need to get this pink off." He added, "So while we are exploring maybe you can take us to these secret passageways of yours and we can find them." He said
Munku chuckled, "In all the commotion I almost forgot about them."
Jag smirked and shook his head, "Those two aren't going to be happy about that, but alright we can try to find them." He said
