Old News is Good News

2/10/00 - More news. We here at Nerdlinger have got yet ANOTHER band on their line up. This time it is a cleaver little punkrock outfit from the Queen City called Outta Angst. Their bio will be up on this page as soon as the guys give us some info and picts. Also, The Heart Throbs have changed their name to Solice From Suffering. We are also on the verge of starting the comp, signing another band, and putting on a Nerdlinger band concert featuring nearly all of the bands here in our home town of Regina, Saskatchewan. More on that as it developes.

2/8/00 - Hello! We have been to busy to update lately, but we did finally start the NCP page, so take a look. We will give a decent update very soon.

1/27/00 - Nerdlinger has recruited two bands! The Heart Throbs are a melodic rock and roll heart break band and Shatterface is a punkrawk band full of a bunch of 12 year olds! Rock! Keep checking back for updates!

1/22/00 - We will have no more counter fuck ups, because we got a new one! Hump-hump-hooray! We also have put the old news on to a seperate page to preserve space. Yippie!

1/18/00 - Six Ounce Size has been put on hold for a while. They are currently not preforming or playing together at all. The members still remain close, but some of the members have decided to put all of there time and energy into getting NCP back in shape. You can expect an NCP release containing mostly new stuff and a couple oldies as soon as they have it all together again. Check back for updates.

1/15/00 - The boys from NCP have contacted the astranged bass player, Neil, but sadly he has no interest in getting back together with the band. However, the boys still want to out NCP back together with or without Neil.

1/13/00 - Some big news; some of the boys from chaos have started up another band! As of right now they are called the The Blacketts. Keep tuned in to the nerdlinger frequency for more info as it is made available. Also coming soon, a section for Chaos, The Blacketts section, plus a section for the queen cities most equally loved and hated band, No Commercial Potential. Come back often for more info.

1/12/00 - Some of the memebers of No Commercial Potential (ncp) are very interested in doing a reunion album. They broke up last april after the bass master general left his post for personal reasons. NCP put out an album at the time of there break up under the name of Suckerpunch. That can be ordered from us here at nerdlinger. Also we have the old Chaos tape "One Last Riot" availible for just one dollar! How can you afford not to buy it? Just e-mail us using the link at the bottom of the page and tell us what you want to order.

1/09/00 - Y2K has hit Nerdlinger. It has fucked up our hit counter. It changes from day to day. On this date it read 1. Yesterday it read 244(the number it is supposed to be) and on January 1st it read 11(???). So don't get too confused. If any of you have web sites where the counter got messed up, drop us a line and tell us we are not alone...

12/31/99 - Hey, punkers. We've just done some massive updating including a new intro page that has some neato java script on it. Still to come is a brand new six oz. size section, more pics, and the long awaited chaos section. The real audio clips are being burnt on to a cd as we speak so we can finally post them here on the site. For now, just sign the guessed book and come back often for daily updates. Rock on.

12/22/99 - We finally found some time to update. The 6 oz.Size disc is still in the planning stage, and we just added a photo gallery and a part of the site where you can meet the boys who bring this insanity to you. Look for tons more pics in the photo section tomorrow because we are getting a whole shit load of pics developed as we speak. Anyway, have fun all you little knuckleheads.

12/06/99 - 6 oz. Size has undergone yet another line up change. Karl is now out and Mike is in for the vacant 2nd guitar position. Also, a fine young man named Alex is perminantly in on bass. This has delayed the recording of their singal, but it's coming, so don't you cry.

12/04/99 - Some of the members of Chaos are getting back together to form a punk rawk quartet and they are interested in releasing a disc under the Nerdlinger label. Check back in the coming weeks for more info.

11/26/99 - Coming very soon, Real Audio samples from the likes of Suckerpunch, Chaos, and 6 oz. Size so check back in a week or so for that.

11/24/99 - This just in, the 6 oz. Size debut singal is due out in a couple weeks. It contains three songs: Aided Solitude, Corners of My Mind and Lie to me. Check back soon for more info.
