Right...I
know, it has been nearly two weeks since my class
ended and I haven´t done...
...one single bit...
of update.
I guess I´ve just been too lazy.
Well then, first things first.
There has been a major change in my life. 00:38 August
16th 1997, I became an uncle.
"Oh, man...now that´s some change, isn´t it..."
Yep, I would have thought the same thing two weeks ago.
It wasn´t like I was all that super-excited about my brother
and his girlfriend having a baby. Or, I didn´t think I was
anyway, but when my brother called from the hospital at
about 01:30 (yeah, I was on the IRC of course), it felt like...
well, for a minute or two,
I think I felt like I could´ve been the father myself.
Truly a great experience
...and yes, I want to thank all of you who actually put up with
me that night on IRC, as I didn´t really feel like sleeping.
I appreciate it. You know who you are. (I´ve always wanted
to say that).
And
this monday, school starts again. As usual, when the
summer is coming to an end, I feel that it just passed by with
the blink of an eye.
My life just flowing by, without me being there to live it.
Greatness majeur.
I guess that´s the easiest part of Einstein´s
theory of relativity.
When you´re enjoying yourself...
Time runs by, real smooth and fast,
carefully...
so that it will not wake you and keep you from drifting quickly
through the experience in a dream-like daze.
And when you´re bored...
It slows down, as a big rusty gear, squeaking and grinding, making
you painfully aware of every second.
Why can´t it be the other way around?
It´s
saturday night.
Sunday morning actually.
And lots of young people are probably sleeping it off.
I´m on IRC again, and typing this.
And I´m kinda happy where I am.
Which film is that saying "Get a life" from, anyway?
