After tearfully reading The Bridges of Madison County one night in bed, Marge awakens Homer to tell him that they should teach the kids about romance. The next day, the Simpsons reflect on cherrished memories--Bart, on his numerous prank calls to Moe and Homer on eating donuts and goo. Realizing she is not getting her point accross, Margte tells them about her near affair with bowling instructor Jacques. Emboldened by Marges honesty, Homer relates his scandelous of his own: his mutual instruction with ex-nuclear power plant employee Mindy. Lisa shares her painful memories of Ralph Wiggum's Valentine-inspired crush on her, while Bart remembers how Laura Powers once broke his heart. Recalling so much anguish leads Marge to nearly give up on teaching the children about love. Homer reminds her that at least two of them got it right, and the kids love to watch "The Itchy & Scratchy Show." |
