Bart and Lisa beg their parents to take them to Itchy & Scratchy Land, advertised as "the violentest place on earth." Marge is reluctant, but agrees to go when the family promises that they will not turn the trip into a miserable, embarrassing experience. After an arduous journey by car, the Simpsons arrive at the theme park. Marge is shocked by the gratuitiously violent rides but finds a pleasant escape with Homer at Parents' Island. However, her respite from the violence is short-lived when Bart and Homer are arrested for abusing costumed park employees. Marge bails Homer and Bart out of the theme park's jail. Soon afterwords, defective Itchy & Scratchy robots brandishing weapons and attack the Simpsons. When Lisa figures out that the bright lights from their camera's flashes scramble the robots' circuitry, the Simpsons turn their cameras into weapons and take the robots' pictures. A battle ensues and the robots are defeated. Marge admits that the family's visit to Itchy and Scratchy Land was their best vacation ever, but curtly requests that no one ever speak of it again. |
