Bart vs. Australia
Original airdate: (2-29-95)

Lisa tells Bart that water in the Northern Hemisphere always drains counter-clockwise. In an effort to prove her wrong, Bart places a collect call to a boy in Australia and discovers that the water in the Southern Hemisphere drains in a clockwise direction, proving Lisa right. However, the phone line remains open and the boy's father receives a bill for $900. Sometime later, Bart receives an official notice from the Australian government informing him that he is being indicted for fraud in Australia.

The Simpsons are visited by Evan Conover, U.S. Undersectretary for International Protocol, Brat and Punk division, who explains that he has arranged for Bart to fly with his family to Australia to issue a personal apology the the Australian government. In Australia, Bart is brought before Parliament and apologizes. However, the Prime Minister also decrees that Bart must receive a "booting" to atone for his act of fraud.

Homer is outraged. He and Bart escape and a chase ensues. They run back to the American Embassy, meeting up with Marge and Lisa on the way. The United States ambassador negotiates one more method of making ammends: Bart is to be kicked once by the Prime Minister himself. Homever, just as Bart is about to receive punishment, he drops his pants and moons the Prime Minister. Angry Australians storm the ambassy, and the Simpsons are airlifted to safety by helicopter.
