Motorcycle Trip Thru The Mountains

A few years ago we took the bikes thru the mountains, We started our trip in Saskatchewan in the rain, and went thru Alberta in the rain, thru Logan Pass (Glacier National Park) in Montana (rain), then Idaho where we were down to our last $5.00 (played the VLT's and got money to get home *s*)(rained there too) Then came British Columbia (Kootenay Lake, the only place it didn't rain) Finally we got back to Alberta (still raining) then Saskatchewan (it stopped raining by that time) Needless to say that it was a very wet trip and in these pix I look like a drowned rat. Despite the rain this trip was a blast!
About a month after this trip I crashed by bike, It locked up and I panicked, I went for a nice uphill slide doing 80, I slid about 45 ft. I thank God that my son was on the back of my husbands bike not mine, but I'm sorry he had to see me wipe out. He was really freaked until I stood up and he saw I was pretty much ok. I really really miss my bike and hopefully I'll be getting another next year.

This picture looks fake eh? but its not. This deer just stood about 5-10 ft away from me for the longest time while I took pictures. It really made me feel so close to nature, then again how could it not.(Summit of Logan Pass)

This is me totally a mess, we had to stop in Pincher Creek because the rain was just way to bad to continue on the bikes, So we partied for a night instead, had someone even try to break into our room. (they didn't get very far) by the way my biker name is "Gator".

This was taken in Logan Pass too, We stopped and I started to climb up the mountain to take some pictures of a family of mountain goats when out of the corner of my eye I see Mister Bossy Goat come running down towards me, So here I am backing away 1 step at a time and he's matching me step by step, Well I figured that wasn't working so I found a boulder to sit and was silently hoping that he wouldnt charge me. He didnt, I guess he got bored and started off to be with his family, only then did I remove my arse from that rock and continue down the mountian.

This isnt a very clear picture, I put it on my page because I like the background. The mountains are my favorite place. Very Peaceful, I think so anyway. (Ps, the silver thing im wearing is a golfing rain suit)

When you travel on a bike you get to see things that car travel wont allow unless you get out and walk. This is one of these places. Drive off the road and look what you can find. Very beautiful peaceful memories.
