March 17th is the day
March 17th is the day
March 17th is the day
When all the Irish come out to play
The beer and rivers all flow with green
And city streets become the scene
For the annual St. Patty's parade
Now whether your name is Smith or Jones
It matters not on this day
The merriment is open to all
No one is turned away
Traditions run deep in this holiday
Right down to the food that you eat
If you've never had corned beef and cabbage
You're in for a true Irish treat
So put on your green hat or shirt or sock
Adorn them with a green shamrock
And meet us all at the corner pub
And let's make St. Patrick's Day rock
