Gohans School Days
Chapter 1
Hmm... I wonder if I should join the martial arts club after school? Mom wouldn't like it thats for sure, but I have to be so careful not to  show my strength it sure would be nice to be able to let it out at the end of the day.
     "Gohan what is the answer?" said the teacher interupting Gohans thoughts. 
"Me?!? Uh wouldn't you rather call on someone else?" stuttered Gohan. "NO! now what is the answer?!?" 
"Umm....3?"
  "3!! The first general of Japans army is 3!? Minus 5 points from your monthly grade!"
Oh Great! Man, if mom sees im not getting above an A+ I'll be killed
RING!

As everyone walked out of class Gohan stopped to talk to his teacher. 
"Um, Mr.Boreland if I join a club after school can I get extra credit in class?" 
"Well I suppose but only if you have a recommedation from the coach and are able to win some kind of award for our school." said the teacher. "Really!? Thats great!" exclaimed gohan.
 "But Gohan why on earth would you want extra credit? Last I checked you had an A?"
"My mom is...well... picky- did you say an A!?"  "Why yes thats why I was thinking you didn't need-" but before he could finish Gohan exclaimed, "AAAAh an A? She's gonna KILL me!" with that Gohan ran off to sign up for the school martial arts club, leaving his teacher in puzzlement.
"NEXT!"
 
"Hi! My name is Gohan and I want to sign up for the martial arts club." said Gohan.   "YOUR going to be a martial artist? Listen kid these clubs aren't for amatuers so why don't you join chess club or something." said the lady behind the sign up table. 
 "But I'm not an amatuer! Come on PLEASE!" begged Gohan. "You know what kid its punks like you that hold up this line so I'll give you a chance just cause I wanna see you lose! If you can defeat our number one senior fighter you can have a spot on the team got it?" 
"Great whos the guy i gotta fight?" 
The lady smiled and said "Gene Orphen" As she said it every one in the gym looked at him, then crowded around the far corner where the sparring ring was set up. Gohan jumped in the ring and found himself facing a tall muscular man with red hair that hung just to his eyes.

The referee boomed "Fighters bow to me, bow to each other...Ready...FIGHT!"
Gohan saw Gene start to spin for a roundhouse kick, it was as if Gene was going in slow motion for Gohan, but this was a fight so Gohan decided he should at least use a little strength. Right as Gene was about to hit Gohan he ducked and swept Genes leg out from under him. Gene didn't expect the move and wads on one foot so he fell head first to the ground but recovered much faster than gohan expected. Both fighters just stood facing each other ready to fight, examining the others strength. Suddenly Gene jumped toward gohan making a lunge punch Gohan saw his chance for a combo to take Gene out and took it. gohan disapeared and reapeard right under Gene and punched him hard in the gut, sending a mix of spit and blood flying from his mouth. Then followed with a quick hook to the jaw sending gene hurtling towards the wall. The match seemed as though it had taken a while for Gohan knowing that he could have ended it in a second, but in reality it was only about 10 or 12 seconds. 

As Gohan stepped out of the ring everyone was speechless except for the coach, Mr.Appleton who ran up to gohan shaking his hand and patting him on the back. "Now son, Gohat right? I suppose You'll have to be our number 2 fighter so you'll only fight against the oppponents second best fighters cause we already promised the number 1 spot to Gene. We start practices tomorrow and practice 2 days a week, we have matches against other schools every Saturday got it? we Practice from 3-4:30 see ya tomorrow!" said the coach
As gohan flew home he thought of ways he could tell his mother that would make her the least likely to kill him or Goten.
