"Fusions"

Fusion is a powerful move that people do in the show. They are three types of fusion, 1 temporarily and 2 permanent. They are as follows:

Namekain Fusion

Two Namaks get together and fuse into one body. The power levels of both bodies are combined and the results are awesome. Piccolo does this with Kame and Nail.

Normal Fusion

This is when two bodies do the fusion dance and fuse into one body. This lasts for 30 minutes and is done by Goku and Vegeta, and Goten and Trunks. There doesn’t seem to be a way to cancel the fusion early. After the fusion wears off, there is a waiting period of one hour before it can be performed again. Everything is added together and the results are just like the Namakian fusion. Goku and Vegeta fused is Gogeta and Trunks and Goten is Gotenks.

Earring Fusion

This fusion is the other permanent one. Both people wear an earring that resembles a Dragonball, one of the left, one on the right. A fusion dance is performed and the people fuse into one, the results are the same as always. One pair of people that do this is Goku and Vegeta. They get absorbed into Buu later on and that cancels the fusion. Goku is given the earrings by Kaiouh-shin. Each person can only have on of these fusions in a lifetime.

Fused Characters

Gogeta

Gogeta is Goku and Vegeta fused, temperaraly. The first time they did this, Vegeta bent his pinky and they turned out fat. A picture of this "fat Gogeta" is at the top. This fusion is done quite a bit and they've also turned super saiyan in this fusion before. A picture of them fused not being fat is the first one at the bottom.

Vegetteo

This is Goku and Vegeta's other fusion. They do this while fighting Buu. This one is permenant, but they allowed themselves to be absorbed by Buu to cancel the effects of the fusion. This is done only once. The picture of Vegetteo is the second one at the bottom.

Gotenks

This is between Goten and Trunks. This is done a few times and it isn't peremenant. This fusion is very funny because Goten and Trunks can't decide who is in control of the body. To see a picture of Gotenks, look at the third picture at the bottom.
