Acne Medical Considerations
Medical Considerations
Aloe Vera Gel: Use the pure gel to clean your skin of bacteria.
Acne is an inflammatory skin condition of the sebaceous glands and hair follicles in which breakouts of reddened "pustules" occur generally on the face, neck and shoulders. While teens are most commonly affected due to the hormonal changes occurring at this age, acne may occur in adults as well. Besides hormonal causes, bacteria also are involved. Food allergies, as well, may play a role according to some authors.
Active Aloe Whole Leaf Aloe Gel is nutritionally beneficial in the Clearing of ACNE and provides relief from minor skin conditions such as turf burns, abrasions, non-poisonous insect bites, diaper rash and other skin problems. It is ideal for minor burns! See additional information in our section on Aloe Vera.
