Meteorites
On earth there are buildings High towering soldiers In towns and cities Betwes allies and streets Silent and sober and drawn. The people are through the windows Rushing their hours Breathing and watching with calm.

On the buildings there’s pale Blue and gray light Lonely air and sound The light escaped the corners And empty streets and allies And people look up where there is still what to see And frightened people still see Beginning and watching the meteorites

The bilboards of space The announcers Up, Up from the darkness allies From the windows People look up

The buildings are everything The buildings are the last barracades Holding Up,Up, to the sky A nailbed to sleep Reaching, afraid to touch Unsung, dried up, gray and wary Worn out heroes. The buildings are everything They hang on, above the still dark life Where vampires and cats pray Where smoke and glitter scrapes Way Up, Up, above

The freight buildings carry the people To watch above To come back again Out of their hideaway, secrets, thoughts Swept away in light of today They just stay away They live where words end.

The meteorites to light the vampire night To give a rhime Where reason ends To make it all fit together Where man stands alone from the windows The secrets, the steps, the draught. He wanted love, peace, friendship and harmony And here they are The bilboards of space The announcers Up, Up from the darkness allies From the windows and unearthly lights People please look up

Up, Up, take them away It is only a phase And it doesn’t matter Who you get tied up to During the steps of phase Under the lights of sky The meteorites

And there are brothers and parents And children holding hands Together them all Alone and away and together Colecting the last remains of feeling And looking And sweeping it Up, Taking it Up, Up, to show themselves And wear across the neck

The meteorites flying Like obscure techno music Humming and slashing Into the dark gray void And waving and brushing Up, Up Showing off and dancing (They must be laughing) And carnavals of dark and gray All shooting up their fireworks For man to see without hearing Where we stand alone.

And on the day of judgement People will look up Stand alone, let alone and gray Left inside their own window Hands together held Looking Up, Up, Up Recognize each their own lonelyness From where they stand alone Each and everyone alone Admit and look Up, Throught the buildings Beyond the buildings Hands stretched away apart Look UP at the meteorites And see themselves as one And they are so lonely, everyone And see themselves each and everyone As one. Alone and still and one And see themselves Alone, Alone
