Author's Note: A challenge fic, 100 words that's it

Been here for hours. Couldn't walk away, couldn't leave her. All peaceful and serene. Expected more mangled, more defeated, but no. Gently sprawled across the ground, sleeping like.

I want to move her, fix the way her body's positioned, but can't stand to touch her.

I'd known I'd be there when she died, the helpless bystander.

I know I should leave, don't have much time before sunrise and being scorched into oblivion, but oblivion doesn't seem that bad.

In fact, might already be there. There's just stillness, silence. You and me Slayer, together forever. Always pictured it a little differently.
