Talk about a lucky break. Josh Duhamel (Leo) was shopping in a mall when a guy came up to him, handed him a business card and asked if he'd ever thought about modeling as a career. Not long afterwards, Duhamel moved from North Dakota to L.A. and began pursuing his dreams. A few years later, a friend asked if he would like to make some extra money working in the mailroom of a talent agency. The 6'3" actor admits that he needed the cash, so he jumped at the chance. Luckily, it wasn't long, before one of the agents at his new office noticed the handsome mailroom staffer and asked if he knew how to act. One thing led to another, and a few weeks after testing for the All My Childern character of Leo, he flew to Bulgaria to tape his first screen role, Dorian Gray in "The Picture of Dorian Gray." The day before filming started, he received a call at 3:30 am, informing him that he'd landed the AMC role. Seven weeks later, he became the hot new star of Pine Valley. "My decision to take the part of Leo du Pres was a good one, and I am really happy to be a part of this cast," he says.
