"Fighting for the integrity of this character is important to me," Josh Duhamel attests, explaining that he forever seeks to give Leo layers. "Whenever a scene calls for him to be supportive, I try to bring sarcasm and edginess to it, And whenn he hast o be real nasty, I try to bring a reluctancy to it- as if he has to do it, rather than just wanting to be cold-hearted." Keeping viewers guessing, after all, is the audience doesn't like Leo for something he does, so be it," Duhamel states.
"That's part of what a love-to-hate character is all about."
