His Victory: "I wanted to win, but sitting there, I didnt think i was going to. I heard all week that it was going to be Ben (Henderickson, Hal, ATWT) or Cameron (Mathison, Ryan, AMC). When i was up on the stage it hit me. I was a kid back in North Dakota a few years ago."
Whether this affects his decision to leave or stay on AMC: "I'm not going to comment yet. The only thing I'm going to say is that I love All My Children. So if i did choose to leave, it's not because i don't love it there. It's every actor's dream to play as many roles as you can."
How he's going to celebrate: "I'm going to have a beer."
Whom he was excited to meet this year (as Melody Thomas Scott, who presented his category, enters): "I grew up watching (Y&R). My mom was watching that ever since the beginning, and she (motioning to Scott) actually said my name. This whole thing is surreal."
