"She always pushed me to excel, and that's something that's really helped me as I've grown up, because I'm able to go after things and not be afraid. "In regards to his decision to become an actor, the two-time Emmy nominee says that his mom has been megasupportive every step of the way. "She's been behind me the whole time. "She's always been a big soap opera fan and now she's an AMC fan," he says with a laugh. "She tapes everyday and watches.
