Duhamel burst onto the scene
in October, 1999 (which means that his three-year contract is almost up.....) as
a charming con artist challenged by Greenlee to seduce Virgin Becca. The
handsome scamp went on to seduce the rest of the town with nothing more than a
wink and a smile---and Duhamel did, too. Although he was saddled with more than
one storyline that didn't add up (like when smart Leo suddenly couldn't do
math), Duhamel made the numbers work. And he clicked with everybody,
including his charcter's loony mother. If Duhamel does go on to Hollywood
stardom. he is one actor who will dispel the old adage that nice guys don't
finish first.
