Hey there all! I made the pilgrimage to St. Louis and back yesterday. And I still haven't slept. I've been awake for ... um ... 31 hours straight. Wow. Any way the show was pretty cool. The only thing that sucked was the fact that YOU COULDN'T HEAR ANY OF THE VOCALS. I pissed me off a little. I don't know what was the matter with the side door but it didn't really seem fair that I drove 3 hours each way to see Hum (some came from much further) and I could hear a word Matt was singing. Matt did his butt grabbing thing on the scream in The Pod. They did one of their new songs, Inkling. But, Brandon got a set list so I'm sure he'll post they complete set if anyone wants to know.
Meeting all the people from the list was cool. I was looking around for people when I first got there. I knew Tracy was supposed to be wearing a green hooded sweat shirt and I saw a girl wearing one so I yelled "Hey, Tracey!! Traacceeeey!" The group of people the girl was with all turned and looked at me and then I realized that the girl was not Tracey. Oh well, I've made a bigger fool of myself before. Any way, I still hadn't found anyone at the beginning of the show. But, about halfway though the set I hear this guy to the right of me yelling for Diffuse. I was thinking along the same lines so I started yelling it too. After another song I look over to see who was yelling. And low and behold it was Brandon York. He looked very much like I had imagined him, sort of Jesus in a hockey jersey. I instantly knew it was him so I said hi. He introduced me to Dave Nite and after the show we found JoeB and Tracey. I wish I could write more now but that being awake for 31 hours thing is doing weird stuff to my mind and my hands are shaking. So ta ta for now.
