*Sam's Hum Show Review* Review By: Merriros@aol.com (sam) HUM was absolutely stunning...the LOUDEST show i have ever been to in my 20 concert list...man oh man...it live up to my expectations and then blew them the fuck away...god, they did such an awesome set! here it is 1. axlotls--i finally heard that intro everyone was talking about..so pretty..man...you do not even know hum till you see them live and with your stomach shaking and your ears throbbing with power... 2. coming home--here's where i noticed matt's mike not turned up too loud, probably louder for the people in the back..considering i was right at his feet and there was this drunk frat boy singing louder then matt that was pissing me off really bad...and stepping on everyone, but i just flicked my cigarrettes on him and left it at that. 3. winder!! -- oh my god, i shit my pants...it sound even better then the recoreded version more dreamy noise and the end alone makes you just want to die of bliss right there 4. green tome--hum recreates the vibe and magnfies it.. 5. i hate it too-- another song that is just flat out better live... 6. lazerus--ahh!! nough-said 7. suicide machine--hold up..they still play this?? good god i was dreaming 8. if you are too bloom--matt can really hit those notes..by this point i think bryan had broken at least 4 sticks. 9. songs of farewell and departure--wow..me in shock, must of looked funny...what a powerful guitar in the middle..matt went nutz with his guitar and amp...feedback that set me free 10. stars--man...i had no idea this would be as moving as it was..the song is so meant to be heard live it was like hearing it for the first time 11. i.c.l.--this one too..ending the set..and i think i jumped my white ass off 12. invisible sun!!-- ahhh!!! i just knew it when i first heard it...it was meant for hum to cover..just power..and it totally rocked 13. i'd like your hair long..--yes..best way to end...with the first performance i ever saw..i coulda died that night...and matt kept strumming at the end and wouldn't stop and everybody else left the stage and he kept going... one of the greatest concerts i have ever seen..i put the drunk frat guy outof my mind and just lost myself...it was amazing..i got a broken drum stick from off the stage and the set list..which i had signed by matt and tim..i didn't see jeff but we waved to him earlier and he smiled waving back..and bryan seemed kinda out of it and in a mood so we kinda gave him his time...but man...i am not the same..it rocked..we talked to tim the most and i spoke alittle with matt..i have amazing pics that i will get and scan soon..i will also scan the set list as soon as i can...man go see hum now!! bye bye everyone Email Sam: Merriros@aol.com Hum In Buffalo
