Yahweh

Yahweh is the Hebrew word for Elohim or God in our modern language. In some Bibles, such as my New King James version, the Preface explains that the "covenantal" name of God (Yahweh) was translated "Lord" and is in capital letters. The word Yahweh is from the Hebrew "Tetragrammaton" YHWH and in the times of old was so revered that the Hebrews were afraid to even utter it.

In modern times, the word "god" is used so loosely that there is no reverence for it; in fact it is blasphemed in our day by our lost generation which scoffingly calls people "gods" (ie. the youth of today will dub a person a "math god" if that person excels in mathematics) and also uses the word in vain. Oh how we err. The often quoted Hosea 4:6 should ring in our ears for it is true; "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

Let us turn from our own ways and let Yahweh and His Word direct our path. Let His name once again be revered throughout our land and let it come forth like fire from our tongues to destroy our enemies.

You will see this author and many others in the Christian Identity faith use His holy name when speaking of the Almighty. After all, isn't the word "god" used in the scriptures to describe Pagan so-called deities? Shall we use the same word to describe the Living God? Shall we put Him in the bucket with all the others?

He is

YAHWEH
