Citizenship


Are you proud to be a citizen of the United States? Do you boldly assert your citizenship and vote? Do you know what all this involves? I recently looked up the word citizen and to my amazement I found the following:

"Black's Law Dictionary 6th Edition
Citizen- One who, under the Constitution and laws of the United States, or of a particular state, is a member of the political community, owing allegiance and being entitled to the enjoyment of full civil rights. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. U.S.Const., 14th Amend. See Citizenship ."

" 'Citizens' are members of a political community who, in their associated capacity, have established or submitted themselves to the dominion of a government for the promotion of their general welfare and the protection of their individual as well as collective rights. Herriott v. City of Seattle, 81 Wash.2d 48, 500 P.2d 101, 109. "

I do not know about you, but I submitted myself to the dominion of The King of kings, Yahshua the Messiah. when I was immersed. I think that submitting to the dominion of a government for the promotion of my general welfare is relying on the government and thereby denying my reliance on the Almighty Himself.

As for being "entitled" to "full CIVIL rights," just what exactly does THAT mean??

Well, an entitlement, I know is something which the government "gives" me when I submit to their authority and admit that I cannot care for myself and that I need them to care for me. Welfare is an entitlement.
Civil right are rights which are granted to me under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution; hence the "civil" part. When I opt for "civil" rights, I surrender my "unalienable" rights which are my Constitutional rights, and also I deny my "God-given rights" so that I may be "entitled to the enjoyment of full civil rights."

Are you enjoying your full civil rights? Do you want to EXPERIENCE your Yahweh-given rights?

Now I ask again......
