The anime series takes place in present day Japan where Tenchi Masaki is your average high school kid who stumbles upon a few "out-of-this-world" guests, which eventually, becomes part of his family. While living with his grandfather and father, Yosho and Nobuyoki, he first engages Ryoko, With the appearance of Ryoko, comes Ayeka/Aeka (A Princess of the distant planet of Jurai, Sasami (Aeka's sis), Ryo-Ohki (A Cabbit from Jurai which can change into a ship), Mihoshi and Kiyone,Space Police, Washuu(The smartess gal around), Tsunami, and other abundant cast members.
