Regarding June 1999 Grievance Filed against Don Helmuth

On September 21, 1999, Gerald Biby met with UNL Appeals Grievance Committee and reveals to them excerpts of deposition testimony from Turan Odabasi and Don Helmuth that supports Gerald Biby's contention that a coverup at the Technology Transfer Office existed regarding Corn Card's commitments from UNL and that UNL was covertly attempting to cancel Corn Card's license to do a deal either directly with Gemplus or First Data Resources. The idea for the technology was Corn Card's . The Industrial Agricultural Products Center just adopted its knowledge of degradable polymers to make it work.

That the Technology Transfer Office knew before December 1999 that Corn Card and Gemplus were discussing the sale or assignment of Corn Card's Technology Licensing Agreement to Gemplus and did not return phone calls or email for 2+ months to the Industrial Agricultural Products Center (Gerald Biby) or Corn Card's president Bill Brown.

That Walter O'Farrell (in the Fall of 1998) had entered into discussions with First Data Resources to license the Corn Card - Gemplus Technology to First Data Resources at the time that he knew of should have known of the relationship between Corn Card and Gemplus and the intent for Gemplus to get the Corn Card License.

In Turan Odabasi's deposition he admits that as early as January 1998, he knew of Corn Card's interest in expanding both its territory and to allow it to also issue financial and smart cards and had consented to the changes. Until his deposition, Turan Odabasi had routinely qualified or denied this approval.
