Angel is probably the most-loved character in the whole show. She is a drag queen musician who is HIV+. Angel's lover is Collins, whom she helped when he was mugged. She got quite a bit of money at the beginning of the play for she was hired by a rich woman to kill her neighbor's dog, Evita the Akita. Angel did so and was rewarded with a thousand dollars. Angel was played by Wilson Jermaine Heredia, who won a Tony Award for his role, and by Andy Senor in the Benny Tour.
