Oh, boy where do I go from here?? Just say a "landlord from HELL" summarizes this one up. I mean literally.. I pasted a complaint text below (OUCH!!)
this complaint concerns the treatment, discrimination of me and my wife, jenny because of our disabilities. This problem was ongoing ever since Jenny moved into this apartment and was single. And safety of The Cartie Apartments. Jenny and me really started having problems beginning January of 2007 when our furnace burned up. I had to open up the furnace, clean it and shut it off in order to prevent a fire emergency. I might as well not touch it in the first place and let it burn if I knew that their disgruntled repairman named Leon would "frame" me by planting a cottonball in it and turning it back on to burn it up more, and had me forced to pay for it through D. Thompson for the fact that "I touched it" in the first place because it could have burned down the apartment if I didn't. It took me and Jenny till July of 07 to pay the $212.00 repair bill for it. D Thompson even threatened to take further action against us in April when we were a little late in sending a payment. Speaking of "fire" in mid May of 2007 A trespasser decided to sneak in the building we lived in pull the fire alarm at 3:00 AM waking the entire building, including my wife and I at 8220 Blondo St. I called 911 to report the alarm that early morning. The fire department had to threaten to bust down the resident manager's* door because he refused to answer his door to the fire department. (very suspicious behavior) The next Day D.Thompson's main office got many complaint calls from us and many (approx 50+) other disturbed tenants of that building, and did not care, let alone were very rude about the whole incident. This was the third false alarm incident within 1 year stated a former tenant of that building. Kudo's to the OFD for the fast response that morning, cause that fire alarm was really getting on our nerves. The problems also got bad when in February when a plumbing mishap in our building caused sewage to soak the hallway carpet for a month and stink. It took 3 weeks for it to be cleaned up at all, but not properly. Leon just used a shopVac to suck up the dried sewage debris, contaminating the hall way even more that month. It took a very nasty smell that occurred later for that to be completely cleaned up in March. When this very nasty smell occurred before an inspection the resident Manger named Scott immediately try to blame me for that nasty smell from the sewage impregnated carpet, Scott and the inspectors inspected our unit first and to their avail there was no foul smell, but a very pleasant smell coming from our unit. In April painting contractors in the unit next door (115) re-painting it dumped paint down that units sink causing more plumbing problems for us. Our sink shortly later was backing up the sink waste from the tenants above. We struggled to keep that mess out of our kitchen for 2 days until a repairmen doing other required repairs seen the problem himself. I have video records available of these incidents above...... We also now have a stalker that lives above us in apt 229. This guy constantly stalks my wife and frightens her to a point where she can not function at all. We recently caught this pervert peeping into or bedroom window at our most "private" moment watching us. I recently called the police on him and found out he has many other complaints of stalking other female tenants. The cops told us to get a protection order immediately in order for him to be arrested. obtaining a protection order within the last month of our tenancy here is about impossible do the legality anyway. We tried to bring this issue up the D. Thompson and Mrs. Thompson made told us it was public if our people can see us through the window. This made me any my wife really feel invaded and helpless. D.Thompson does NOT care about our privacy at all. They said they would kick him out, but he still is here in the building when he is not supposed to live here. In July we were in the process of moving out. We gave our notice and D. Thompson would not accept it at first because July 1st, when it was due the latest was Sunday and they was no acceptation by them. We had to use the "business day" legal loop-hole to get our notice in and accepted because it was July 2nd when we gave it in and it was legally 30 days notice and was within our rental agreement. Mrs. Thompson under her breath called My wife Jenny a "bitch" when we gave them the notice in person and my mother, Angie accompanied us when we went. Jenny and me have moved out of the Cartie Apartments on July 31, 2007, but we have a part of or deposit unlawfully withheld. Thompson did try to with hold about 150.00$,in damages unlawfully, maliciously and unjustly from our deposit for unspecified flood damages, that we did not cause. But D. Thompson let that go since a plumber stepped in and proved we did not cause that flood damage. We suspect due to our disabilities, D.thompson and that resident manger at the Cartie' building are discriminating against us by attempting to use us as their scapegoats. Due to the other previous safety, and health problems Me and Jenny have been previously trying to bring to attention, plumbing, public safety, property safety, sanitation, odor and dangerous insect infestations in various areas of building. (Including a brown recluse spider infestation in our former unit.) and the negligence or inadequacies repairing the problems listed above. We are low income and we went the other routes of reporting these problems to Secton8, Equal Housing, and Douglas County Health Department with no satisfactory results. We were also forced to pay 210.00$ for a furnace repair back in February because I had to get into it to clean it in order to keep it from burning down the apartment when it fried due to negligent filter maintenance by the management. The repairman planted a cotton ball into the partly burned furnace before turning unit back on and completely destroying it and photographing this "evidence" back then before replacing the circuit board. He also tampered with a video camera I placed nearby by turning it around back then due to the shady maintenance crew when they repaired the furnace then. There are other good tenants having similar problems with D. Thompson and that building has a lot of vacant units due to the dangerous problems there. D Thompson did rip us off $95.00 for other repairs for damage we did not cause either and were do to ordinary wear and tear, including the refrigerator not being clean enough, the bath tub and stove being stained which was due to age. we got ripped of for.

Sprint PCS
One of the top major wireless phone companies with horrible service, prices, and legal obligations. I was happy with Sprint for 3.5 years until My needs changed. I had to have some help terminating my so called "agreement" with out fee. The kicker is here I owed them for service and I was trying to pay them off slowly without going broke myself. These ASSHOLES STILL turned me over to collections and were still assessing late fees to my final bill after the fact of ending service. I wound up charging this to a credit card in order to put their shit behind me and off my back. Sprint's service is very expensive when it comes to use of voice service. To top that the customer service is horrible, they harass, over contracts, they love to hear enraged customers cuss them out so much it is a FETISH. This has now to a point that they are now in trouble with the feds.. ( I think ) for actually disconnecting the customers who call customer service too many times.
