Friendless

I knew this time was coming
I saw it long ago,
It all started in one evening,
Now I can't let go.
It hurts me to see you this way
But if you want it this way
Then I'll forget you and go.
But how much it hurts, you'll never know.

I'm sorry for what I did
I'm sorry we ended up this way
You were the closest friend I ever had
But what can I do when you're mad.

I'm always here,
If you need someone to talk to
How I wish we were still friends,
'Cause this friendship I thought would never end

Hold On To Your Dreams

Hold on to your dreams,
Don't ever give in.
If you keep on trying,
You're going to win.
Hold on to your dreams,
Though sometimes it's hard
Just hold your head up
And reach for the stars.
Hold on to your dreams
Though they seem far away.
And those dreams will come true,
Somehow-Someway

Sweet Revenge

All eyes and appetite
Like a tiger in the night
Watching every move you make
Waiting for the right mistake
A wounded heart has no pride
You cut the deepest part inside
Of me.
This time you won't get far
I can see you in the dark
Street lights and strangers' eyes
They'll be my disguise
The clock ticks the night away
Tonight you're gonna have to pay.

One time we were so close
I thought we shared a soul
You were the other half of me
The half that made me whole
Now I'm fighting back tears
I'll never let you see
And you'll never know
As you turn and go
You tore away part of me.

I know all the moves
What you'll say-What you'll do
How I'll take you to the edge
Leave you hanging
You can't cry
You can run but you can't hide
From me.

Way it used to be

I may get around
I may laugh a lot
Now you'd think I'd be happy
With the life I got
But nobody knows
Nobody sees
It isn't really the way it used to be.
I could have it all
I could have my fame
I could be a lucky person
And make the grade
But nobody knows
Nobody sees
I'm not telling it the way it should be

I may seem secure
I may seem afraid
I could walk away
I could fight all day
But nobody knows
Nobody sees
I just wish it could be
The way it used to be
